So, I've been doing some research on viking culture, and found a pretty cool word that I think would be an interesting name.
Valkyrie: warrior angel (not sure about the pronunciation? Val-ker-ree?) For a baby girl.
nn Kyrie (KAI-ree)
Thoughts? I'm not actually going to use it, just thought I would ask what everyone thought. (:
This may be a little out-there...

Valkyrie (as stated) is a warrior in Viking history. All warriors go to 'warrior heaven' Valhalla.
I always pronounced Valkyrie as "Val-ke-ree" or "Val-ker-ree". I think the latter is the correct one
Its an interesting name. I don't think I would use it myself, but I think it's cute as a girl's name.

Valkyrie has an interesting sound, history, and meaning. I definitely like it. It is a little out there, but definitely better than most of the other word names I've seen. I don't think I'd ever consider it other than as a middle name.

I like it...Its definately interesting. I agree that is better than alot of word names that you see out there. If you used it, what would you call her? I mean Valkyrie is long and difficult for a child to say.
