~Boys~

-Singles-

Tobias- I love this name! It's been one of my favorites for a while.

Murdock/Burdock- Murdock is okay. I wouldn't use it myself, but it's not terrible. Burdock just looks and sounds strange to me, though.

Magnus- Again, I wouldn't use it myself, but it's not bad.

Judah- I like this one! I also like Jude.

Carlisle- This name has a nice sound to it, but for some reason I feel like it would be hard to pull off. I'd probably only use it as a middle name.

Paul- A good, simple, classic name.

Jameson- It's okay, but I prefer James.

Etienne- This one has been growing on me a lot recently. I love it's sophisticated sound.

Constantine- I like this name, but would probably never use it.

Balthazar- This one is not my style, and I feel it would be hard to live with.

Henry- Another name that has been growing on me recently. I also like the nickname Harry.

Alaric- I like this one a lot! It's a good alternative to the more common Eric.

Alistair- Love it!

Cassius- This one is another new favorite for me.

Alphonse- NMS

Adair- I don't feel strongly about this one either way.

Mortimer- I don't like the look or sound of this one.

Suggestions: Malcolm, Atticus, Isaac, Sebastien/Sebastian, Lucius/Lucien/Lucian, Ambrose

~Girls~

-Singles-

Sophie- Pretty. I also like Sophia.

Arabella- I don't feel strongly about this one either way.

Rosalie- I love this name.

Rosalind- I love this one too!

Cosette- This one is cute. I'd probably only use it as a middle name.

Florence- I've never liked this name. It sounds like an old-lady name to me.

Cordelia- Love this one! I think Cora is a cute nickname for it.

Francesca- I like this one a lot too!

Anastasia- This is one of my all-time favorite names!

Adelaide- Pretty!

Carole- This one's okay, but I prefer Caroline

Alouette- Cute!

Remilia- I prefer Amelia/Emilia.

Melisande- I don't like this one.

Vivienne- This name has been growing on me recently. It's sophisticated and pretty.

Eve- It's okay.

Marisol- NMS

Claire- Nice!

Ellen- It's okay

Clarice- Pretty.

Suggestions: Elodie, Eleanor, Lorelei, Cornelia, Ariadne, Althea

Carole is a family name, I don't know where you're located in the world so it may not be the same, but in the area that my grandmother was from there were 5 ways to spell Carole. They were Carol/Karol (G), Carole/Karole (G) and Carrol (B.) and so I simply grew up knowing and liking the spelling Carole over Carol/Carrol is all :)

Not rude or mean at all!! For me, its only mean once it get to the point of saying something like, "No, just no, that name is DREADFUL! No one should name a poor baby that name, what kind of parent would do that?!" So you're totally fine!!

Okay, the family spelling makes sense. I love honoring names, so that makes me like the name more! Where I live the spelling Carol is most common with a few families who have the surname Carroll. But again, you have a very nice list!
