Lavinia. Thoughts? I used to hate it but it's caught my eye. Would Lola work as a nick name?
Delphia/ Delphine. I like Delphine, but I saw Delphia on a name announcement and I'm in love! Thoughts? I am thinking the nick name Della would be cute, maybe Fi/Fifi. If not, what about Delphine? Too French?
Magnolia. Too childish? Too odd? Would it work in real life? I think of nn Nola would be cute.
I'm adoring Octavia again. I had it as a fist name with nick names Tae or Vivi as options. Now I'm thinking maybe a middle name, though I'm not set on either way. Delphine Octavia, Harlow Octavia, Phoebe Octavia...
This is my girls list now:
Mabel Riley
Sylvie Indigo
Elodie Scout

Lavinia is really pretty, uncommon but not too out there and it still has a sort of classic feel. I think Lola works just fine as a nickname, but I think Vinnie would be really cute too.
Delphia and Delphine are charming, but I'm not sure that I like the "elf" sound in them. I don't think Delphine sounds too French, and I really like -phine/phina names, but Delphine reminds me a little too much of 'dolphin'. I've never heard Delphia before, but I like it a little better than Delphine. Della is a super cute nickname (Delly would be cute too).
Magnolia is a GP of mine. I don't think it seems too childish--it's really not all that different from Lily, which just happens to be more common. Nola is cute. Other nickname possibilities include Maggie or Lia, both of which I like.
Octavia is a name that has grown on me since watching The 100, but it's another GP. I think it would make a lovely middle, but it could also work as a first. Via is another cute nickname idea (that's what I love about long names, there are so many nicknames to choose from). Phoebe Octavia is gorgeous!
Mabel Riley is cute, but neither name is really my favorite. I feel like Mabel and Riley have different styles, and the L's clash a teeny bit, but it's still a nice combo.
Sylvie Indigo isn't really my style. It has a great flow, but I'm just not a fan of either name.
Elodie Scout is not really for me either. I've never particularly liked Scout, and Elodie is cute but I prefer Melody.

I'm personally not a fan of Lavinia, but I do think it's a nice name that deserves a comeback. Lola is a bit of a stretch, but I think it works as a nickname.
Personally, Delphia and Delphine make me think dolphin but I think they're useable with the nicknames Della or Fifi. I particularly like Della!
I don't think Magnolia is too childish. It's unconventional but not too "out there," if you know what I mean. I think the nickname Nola makes it more useable anyway.
I think Tae and Vivi are cute nicknames for Octavia. I particularly love Phoebe Octavia!
