We're expecting a girl and choosing a name has been so hard. I really like the name gabriella but I'm not sure if it fits right with our last name, mendeita. Plus I don't want her name shortened to Gabby. If I do pick that name, what are some good middle names that go with Gabriella Mendieta? Thanks in advance

Gabriella is lovely. Gabriella Mendieta sounds nice, there are enough syllables to break up the repeating "a" ending. To avoid Gabby, maybe you'd want to think of another nickname you could shorten it to sometimes? Like Ella? Just a thought.

I think Gabriella Mendieta sounds a little singsongy. I would suggest something that doesn't end in an "a."
