Sooo, my bf & I both love the name Socrates.
We've been talking about naming one of our future baby boys it.
we both agreed its a really powerful name & kids could be cruel so we are scared our boy will get teased.
what do you guys think?
better as fn or mn or not at all?
(&& what names would go well with it)
what do you think of the name Socrates?

Bad memories of boring philosophy lessons. hehe.
Besides that, I think it's a little bit extreme- but if you really love it, then you should use it. Though a middle name would be safer, IMO. Less teasing potential

lol, i know what you mean.
i had the same type of philosophy class.
snoozeville for sure!
but the name itself seems so cool.
i actually never met a socrates & it would be different.
&& thats really weird because i'm more into classic/traditional names.
i was in the delivery room w| my best friend & she just looked at him & knew that the name she picked (lucius or julian) didn't suit him. sooo idk, i'm just writing my list because once i have my 1st baby boy, whatever name on the list suits him, that'll be it.
