We haven't found out what we are having yet, this is our third child so gender isn't at the top of our concern list. With our first two we had names picked out pretty early on. My son's name is Axel Douglas and my daughter is Ava Willow. We only planned on two kids and this was a complete surprise so we are having trouble with names.

I like Emma for a girl but my husband doesn't really like it. We both like Cain for a boy but it sounds more middle name-ish the more I think about it. We don't like super "common" names like Ashley or Brian. We also don't like made up names or names you can't immediately pronounce when looking at it.

I really like the sound of Cain. Cain and Axel would make very cool brother names. It would also make a good middle name as well. Here's some suggestions I could think of, the ones I like with Axel and Ava are in bold. (Sorry for any repeats)
