Cecily Aurora Niamh & Violet Penelope Cara

Felicity Aurora Niamh & Violet Penelope* Cara

Margot Aurora Niamh & Violet Felicity Cara

Odette Aurora Niamh & Penelope Violet Cara

Penelope Aurora Niamh & Violet Felicity Cara

Violet Aurora Niamh & Penelope Margot* Cara
Violet Aurora Niamh & Penelope Cleo* Cara
Violet Aurora Niamh & Penelope Cara Rose/Pearl/May*

* We're open to suggestion on these.

Big brother is Theodore which is why we've switched Aurora to the middle name spot. Two middle names are a family tradition and all the names that aren't * are set. Many thanks!

I'm not crazy about Cecily and I really dislike Odette... Aurora would be a prettier choice, in my opinion.

With Violet as a first name, my favorite combination is Violet Aurora Niamh. My second pick would be Violet Felicity Cara.

I think that Penelope Cleo Cara doesn't flow well.

I would go with...

Margot Aurora Niamh & Violet Felicity Cara

or
Violet Aurora Niamh & ____________

Suggestions to go with Violet Aurora Niamh:

Margot Felicity Cara - I think that Margot&Violet create a gorgeous pair!

Margot Penelope Cara

Penelope Rose Cara

From your other posts I like individually: Cleo, Daisy, Willow and Esme. But I can't find a good combination with these names and Cara. I think the best combination you have is ______ Felicity Cara.

Maybe this will help: https://nameberry.co...irst-name-ideas

Thanks Danielle! You've been a great help.

Violet Felicity Cara is now agreed. We're just not sure on Aurora with Theodore. It's our favorite name but the similarity comments are hard to shake because I don't like matchy names. Apparently they don't work well together. Penelope is about the only other name I think I'd want as a first name but Penelope Aurora just feels off to.

Penelope Aurora Niamh, Aurora Daisy Niamh, Aurora Willow Niamh and Aurora Xanthe Niamh are what we're working with right now.

Congratulations for your choice!

I think that my favorite combination is... Aurora Daisy Niamh!
How do you pronounce Xanthe?

I love Aurora and probably I'm biased, but here's what I think about Aurora & Theodore:

For me, matchy names are the ones that are very obviously put together and/or sound extremely similar. Exemples: Gabrielle and Isabelle; Matilda and Matthew; Jack & Zack; Serena & Melina; Liam and Mila; Willow & Wilson; Nadia & Aidan; Stella & Esther; Noelle & Eleanor;...

I do love names that share the same theme! Ex: Jade and Ruby

I adore Aurora and Violet for sisters because these are 'word names'. Theodore and Aurora share the R sound at the end, but that's it. I believe must people won't notice it.
I dislike when, in a sibset, two or more names have a very specific characteristic in common and another one is left out. Ex: Dahlia, Rose, Lily and Christina.
That's not the case! All the three names are in the same level of popularity, witch brings them together and, in my opinion, Aurora creates a beautiful harmony between Theodore and Violet thanks to the reasons above. I think this is a very consistent set.
I believe that in a good sibset the names always have something in common (popularity, meaning, style, number of letters,...) and that's why they sound so good together!

If Aurora is your favorite name, please, use it!

Penelope is an elegant and strong name for a girl. It's a really nice choice but I prefer Aurora, Violet and Theodore.
Theodore, Aurora and Penelope would also be great because both female names are mythological and have a bond. At the same time, Penelope and Theodore would share their length.
However, for some reason, I can't find a very strong connection between Theodore, Violet and Penelope like in the other sets.

Good luck!

Thank you, you really are a star!

We pronounce it as Zan-Thee. It's from Greek mythology and means golden one. This combination feels quite whimsical and magical to me what with the imagery of the Aurora Borealis and the meanings Dawn and Bright/Radiant with it.

I did worry about Aurora and Violet feeling a bit themed but we love the means and their meaning to us. I agree, I like a subtle theme so things like syllables, name length and being similar in popularity are nice ties for me. Using nicknames help with Aurora and Theodore but I don't want to feel like they always have to be shortened when said together.

We're down to Aurora, Esmé and Penelope as first names.
