My husband and I are starting for our first child and though I'm not pregnant yet and have plenty of time I'm trying to come up with names for our children. He
likes different and unique names possibly even using names from other countries such as Japan, Turkey, and India. I have found some beautiful names that I like
but I'm not sure that using them would be smart as well as Culturally Correct. Neither my husband or I have any % of these blood lines in our veins and I wonder if
it would seem insensitive..or even i guess rude that we used names such as Sakura, Padma, Ender, Kaida, Kiele. Just to name a few. We are as caucasian so I
wonder would it offend other cultures if we were to use these names? I would use them as first names and give family names for middle names. So not to cause
confusion with other family members. I don't want to put them as middle names because if your going to use it as first names make it their first name. I am
looking for feedback so I don't offend anyone because even though these names are beautiful I can find other options.
Thank you in advance!

I personally don't find it offensive, and can't see how it would be! Now, I personally think not all names from other cultures would suit someone of a different culture. But thats just a personal opinion! With so many Kree8tyve names going on now adays, I think those would blend in fine. And actually, I much prefer these sort of names to the ones people make up or what not! Because they are real names with background and everything! I actually have quite a few names on my list that are from other cultures. I'm not sure the likelihoods of me using them in real life, but I like:
Saoirse [sare-sha/seer-sha, Irish]
Roisin [ro-sheen, Irish]
Siobhan [shiv-awn, Irish]
Maeve [rhymes with cave, Irish]
Katya [Russian]
Pasha [Russian]
Sacha [Russian]
Nikolai [Russian]
to name a few! My favorites are Russian and Irish, though I have neither in my blood.
Hope this helps!
