Alrighty, theres a list of nature names I was looking at for you all to vote on! I made it multiple choice, vote in all the ones you like I don't necessarily like all these names, but some of them did intrigue me so I posted them on there for you all to see!
Here's just a little info on some names, in case you ladies wonder
Aeris - Latin, meaning wind. I've had a crush on Eris for a while, its such a pretty girls name. But the "Goddess of Chaos" association kinda throws me off. WDYT of Aeris? Even as just a GP?
Auster - Latin, meaning South-Wind. I think it'd kinda make a good boys name. Another GP. But still. I like Austen, so Auster seems a short veer off of that. I think it'd be a good boys name though, if your looking for even vaguely nature names What do you ladies think?
Cerelia - Latin, meaning of the spring. Its another name thats slightly different than the traditional name: Cecelia. But I think this name could really work as well. We have both Celina and Serena in our name books, and both are equally accepted. Why not Cecelia and Cerelia? The only thing that gets me personally from using it is it sounds like surreal-yeah. But thats not necessarily bad. I think Ceri (like Suri?) could make a sweet nick name! And Cece is still on option! <3
Isaura - pronouced ee-sor-uh. I have to say I'm falling for it. Its like my Isabel that I like said EE-sah-bell, except its traditionally pronounced with the eeees sound to it! <3 Almost like a mix of Isabel and Aura. I really like it! I doubt Mike would, but oh well. It can be on my personal name list. (oh, and the meaning? Nothing special really. Its just "in ancient geography, is a rugged district in the interior of South Asia Minor" so says google. Idk, not a horrible meaning I should steer clear of or anything).
Maple: I feel like Maple could be the modern Mabel. As much as I adore Mabel, Mike's disliking threw me off of it. Not to say I want to replace it with Maple, but the name did come to mind. I remember reading a Nameberry blog that mentioned a celebrity parent using Maple and I thought it was kinda sweet.
Oh, and on a sidenote to all my nature names.. my girls name list feels like its improving! <3 I think Ophelia might definitely be on My List. I'll just have to find first or middle names for it. Also, I am finally crushing on a name again!! Its been far too long, but I'm rediscovering Hadley <3 The more I see it (which is frequently around here ), and the more I say it out loud.. I love. Plus the nick name Haddie Plus, I know my mum would love to have a little Haddie in the family. So far, Hadley Saoirse is my favorite. For My List, anyway. I know Mike doesn't love it. So for Our List, Hadley Victoria is currently the favorite! I really do like it, so pretty. I think Hadley Rosalind is a third place for me. Very beautiful, but Mike doesn't love Rosalind. Oh well. At least we have Hadley Victoria I love how I can picture a Hadley at every point in life, and Haddie is just so adorable yet doesn't necessarily hold her back to childhood. Plus, I've always been a fan of vintage names, and Harriet was on my list for quite some time, nick name Hattie. And Mike puh pooey'd it :/ But he does love Hattie/Haddie, and Hattie is all vinage, and Haddie sounds the same, so.... I get what I want, just through Hadley rather than Harriet! Which is fine by me. The only thing that throws me off is Mikes last name ending in -eee. I'll just have to make sure Hadley's middle name never ends up ending in ee.
Thanks ladies!
Vote thoughts on a few names.. plus I've an official add to my girls names <3333

Aeris - It looks a little bit clunky but I do like the sound has I've always had a teeny tiny soft spot for Eris. It makes a great GP but I couldn't necessarily see it on a person.
Auster - Seems like a mix of Austin and Aster which for me is like combining a boy name (Austin) and a girl name (Aster) to make (what sound to me like) another boy name.
Cerelia - I really do like the sound of this one, but I could never see myself having it on my list, though I don't know why. It is very elegant sounding though!
Isaura - It has a charming sound and feel to it, not necessarily my style but still nice and pretty.
Maple: I dislike most tree names on girls, the only one's I really like are Willow and Laurel and Maple makes me think breakfast (Maple Syrup) and I just get hungry

Thanks Lauren! Aeris does look a bit clunky, agreed. For my GP list Eris remains, but I think Aeris is an interesting thought for a name! <3
I didn't even think of Aster when I thought of Austen // Auster. I suppose it does feel like a mix of those two. It kinda makes me think of Austen and Foster mixed when I think of it more.. Or Auster being Foster without the F. I whole heartedly agree that Auster feels very masculine.. I can only imagine it being used on a boy <3
I agree! Cerelia does have an elegant sound to it! Even if I wouldn't use it, it would be cute on someone elses kid
Isaura does have some form of charming feel.
I haven't found very many tree names I've loved on girls.. even though I do tend to like nature names. I moreso like plant names, ie Lily and Dahlia and such. But Maple is a GP for me now. It has a soft sort of sound.. and theres a bazillion maple tree's around me. There are Maple syrup farm places super close to my house :') Heck, there are Maple tree's I could sap out and make syrup with if I was so inclined. Yet the funny thing is when I hear Maple I don't think of syrup haha <3
thanks for your opinions! I love to hear others thoughts on names! And even though these aren't necessarily names I'd use, for the most part, I still love hearing how others think about them! <3
