Well, I have been sick for weeks and while laying on the couch, I was thinking of all of you. And I remembered my neighbors who had a friend named Timmy, who was a lady. So, I randomly thought of the name Timerin (TIM-er-inn) for a girl. What do you guys (and/or girls) think? Do you like it better on a boy? Any middle name ideas for boys and girls?

I see it more as a boy's name if anything. I think the "Tim" part catches me.

Timerin Rose
Timerin Hannah
Timerin Jane
Timerin Bailey

Timerin Joel
Timerin Alexander
Timerin Gage
Timerin Luke

Mmm, not my style, it does remind me of Tiernan which is an Irish boys name I really like

I do think Timerin is more of a boy name though

I think changing it up a bit to Timerlinn would give it more of a girly feel

I mostly agree, the name is not my style but I don't think it sounds extremely weird or anything.
There are tryndee horrors which are definitely worse

And it's definitely got a unisex feel -- "Tim" is definitely boy-ish, but the "Rin" part is actually a little more girly.

Maybe Tamerin would be more feminine... with the nickname Tammy! :D

Tamerin does sound more feminine :D

Timberlyn would be... maybe cute  Not sure yet, haha! But it definitely feels more feminine than a lot of other options... Tim just stands out as extremely male to me lol!

What about spelling it Timmeryn? I gave this name a lot of thought after I saw your post, DH's name is Tim so that would be cute if we ever have a DD. :) I think it is a beautiful name you have come up with, the reason for me suggesting a different spelling is that at first glance the way you spelled it might easily be mistaken as (Timer-in). Great job though!

Well that is how its pronouced (Timer-in). I have recently changed the spelling for a girl to Timeryn! For a boy, Timeran. Funny that you would mention it!
