I'm really starting to like Caroline more and more lately <3 I have an Aunt Carol it could honor, which I love. I had a childhood friend with this name (though she went by Kiki). And it just brings up good memories.

I would use nick name Caddie (i know, like the golf caddie. That doesnt bother me. Its not a bad association really, plus my lack of interest in golf makes the association barely there). I read Caddie Woodlawn when I was little and fell in love with the nick name. Also I love Haddie/Hattie and this sounds alike. Mike likes the -addie sound as well, though he vito'd Harriet nn Hattie. He does like Hadley nn Haddie but I'm unsure. Anyway, Caroline is a good replacement.

Im unsure on middle names though. I cant decide if I want to stick traditional and go along the lines of Caroline Victoria or Caroline Theodora, or add some zest with Caroline Linnea or Caroline Bailey? I dont specifically love any of the combinations, so I'd love idea's. Is Caroline too boring to stick traditional? I do love having a bit of a modern twist... Idk.

Thanks for all opinions // suggestions!!

Caroline is nice but I always think of the States because it's so close. I personally prefer Coraline or Carolyn over Caroline.

Theodora and Victoria are nice middle names, personally not a fan of Linnea and Bailey is a name I prefer on boys much more than girls. Caroline is nice enough (and in the the new naming trends) uncommon enough to use any kind of middle name, from classic to trendy to exotic!

I adore Caroline!

I have it as a middle on my list.

Caddie is a cute nickname I hadn't thought of. I wouldn't associate it with Golf Caddie though.. Just Cady from Mean girls! I also like the idea of using Linny or Lainey as nicknames.

I adore the name Caroline! And I love all of the different options for nicknames, my favorites are Cara and Lina. It also works great in the middle spot!

I'm glad you liked it! It was the first combination that came to mind. I had Evie Caroline, but I have a friend named Evie (Eve), so I couldn't use it as a first name!

Caroline Evie is adorable IMO.

I do love how Caroline works so nicely as a first or middle name, Tora :) Cara and Lina are both lovely nick names as well <3 I know Mike circled Cara in my namebook, so he'd probably like it as a nick name. But I told him Caroline "Caddie" last night and he was in love.

I'm really stuck between Evie Caroline or Caroline Evie now<3 Like, I adore it!! I can totally picture myself using either as a first name, and I dont really want to push eother to a middle name... But they feel so perfect together <3 ahh. Decisions...
