We will be expecting a girl this July! The problem is, my husband likes classical names, but I really don't. Is there any name that can be middle ground? Last name is Ferrel. Thank you!

I was about to suggest Willa, but Willa Ferrel probably isn't a good idea, lol.

I think the suggestion of a classical name with a slightly more funky nickname is a great idea!

(There are slightly more modern nicknames, or unusual.. all depends on your style)

Audrey nn Addy

Francesca nn Frankie/Annie

Louisa nn Lo/Lulu

Charlotte nn Callie/Charlie

Vivienne nn Via/Evie

Penelope nn Peppy/Nell/Poppy/Penny

Isabella nn Abby/Issa/Bella

Olivia nn Vi/Liv/Ollie

Alexandra nn Andie/Ally/Alex/Lexa

Scarlett nn Carly/Calla/Lettie

Katherine nn Kit/Kat/Kate/Rin

Juliet nn Jules/Etta

Madeleine nn Addie/Dell/Ella/Maddie/Linnie

Josephine nn Josie/Seph/Finn

Abigail nn Gail/Abby

Genevieve nn Viv/Evie/Gina/Neve

Eleanor nn Nora/Ella/Lennie

Matilda nn Mila/Mia/Mattie

Caroline nn Linnie/Carly

Victoria nn Ria/Via

Elizabeth nn Ella/Liza

Georgina nn Georgie/Gigi/Gia

Lilliana nn Lilia/Lila

Rebecca nn Reba/Becky/Becca

Emilia nn Emme/Millie/Lia

Gwyneth nn Gwen

I'll come up with some more that might suit what you're looking for though.
