Ok. So I'm on a baby site for moms & moms-to-be.

These moms due in October '12 where talking about what they're naming their babies (so of course, I lurked ) everything was cute, not all my taste (Ka'Niya for example.) then I see a girl naming her twins

Rhys Soryn-Kai

AND

Reinbeaux Nirvana-Ann

Poor baby girl!!

Anyway thoughts?

Unless someone speaks French or is from Louisiana they probably won't get her name right the first time they see it. Nirvana-Ann isn't horrible but if I was that child I'd be going by Ann/Annie.

Rhys Soren-Kai seems fairly legitimate, at least. I have been liking Rhys lately.

Reinbeaux Nirvana-Ann... I've heard so many teens joke about Reinbeaux as a name. When I went to highschool there was quite a few who'd joke about naming their daughter that. Especially one who was dating a boy with the last name King, so she could have a child named Reinbeaux King. I comfort myself in the fact that the majority of people who make out polls like this are fakes. I mean, its possible they were real, but it eases my mind to think they are just faking for attention. Rein / Raine and Beaux // Bo // Beau are separately fine names, though. Not favorites of mine, but separately good. Nirvana I dislike for many reasons.. I'm assuming its after the band, but its also a very religious word, Buddhist or something. Though I think of it in the same way as naming your child Christian, Jesus, or Trinity. I just dislike it so much because its such a connection to religion -- and half the people who use them are unaware or just don't care. (its different to me when a word means something to you though, like how Jay is very into christianity and if she named her son Christian, it would have meaning to her and make a little more sense!).

I was like Rhine bow? Oh wait, RAINBOW! Rainbow is awful enough but this spelling is ridiculous. At least she could go by Rein, which isn't so bad.

Yeah, I agree with everyone... Reinbeaux is pretty awful. I'm not a fan of Nirvana either. And Rhys Soryn-Kai... I guess it's not as terrible, but it's definitely not my style.

I'm honestly not a fan of either.

I think they look pretty cool, but sound pretty terrible.

And Rainbow in general for any child is serious awful.

It's in the same category as Apple, Audio Science, Pirate, and Pilot Inspektor for me o_O
