I have fallen in love with the name Soleil! It's the French word for sun and I was wondering what you ladies thought of it! :) I'm also having trouble deciding whether I like it more on a boy or girl or just stick it as a unisex name. It looks masculine to me but sounds like it could be feminine with the ending sound it has but the beginning sounds rather masculine to me. WDYT ladies!? :)

I discovered Soleil probably about a year ago, and I've liked it ever since. Not enough to use personally, but I think it's a really beautiful name!(:
I've only ever though of it as for a girl. It really doesn't strike me as masculine. Just my opinion.

I had Soleil on my list when I was younger, I thought it was gorgeous. All feminine, though. Now I don't care for it. It does have cool associations though! Like Circe De Soleil! :)

I think Soleil is very pretty and enough people (adults at least) should be familiar enough with it that it wouldn't pose many pronunciation issues. Personally I find it a feminine name.

I just want to throw out there that I love Soleil for a girl. I can't see on a boy though :)
