I was reading the birth annoucments in local paper when I came across the annocment for Shaylan Ashley. Do you think this name is for a boy or girl?

I say it for a girl but who knows in these day and times!

Our Birth announcements always say so and so welcom a baby girl/boy and then the name!

Both sound unisex. I know that Ashley is!

Sounds more girly though. Shaidan/Shaidon Ashland maybe would be a better suggestion for a boy but I dont really like Shay/Shai names for a boy b/c it sounds kinda fem.

It was for a boy. I know that both names can be used for a boy, I was suprised though that the parents would use two names that are often used on girls on a boy.
