Okay, so I have loved the nick name Evie for a very long time, but I'm unsure which longer version I like best, or even just plain Evie!

Genevieve and Evelyn both have a full, French feel that is absolutely gorgeous! <3 and they are as tied as can be in my head! :wub:

Help! Which one should remain in my list? :D

How I LOVE the name Evelyn! Evelyn is my Great Grandmas name - she was a smart, beautiful, independent and strong women her whole life. I miss her dearly everyday!!

When naming my first daughter I wanted to incorporate her name, but wasn't sure if naming her Evelyn was the way to go. My Great Grandfather called my Grandmother Eve for short.

I came across the name Nevaeh and loved the sound, but not the spelling so much. I came across the same name spelled Neveah - Slavic for Morning Star. The spelling worked in my favor and it mocked how my Grandfather spelled Eve (EV). My daughters nn is Evey

* Ultimately I love Evelyn!!

I really like Evie as a name on its own, but most people would associate it with a longer name and assume it's a nickname.
Though I do like a lot of older names, Evelyn is still kind of a grandma name to me.
I like Genevieve, it has spunk :D.

I know lots of people like Evelyn, but it has a very "Blah" feel to me. Like "Kinda cute, I guess."
Genevieve is one of my FAVORITES. I ADORE this name. If there was such a thing as super caps, I would use it. I live the subset Genevieve and Felicity... It has the same frilly girly song and dance with a whole lot of WOW.
I can't explain it :D

Evelyn almost feels like an old lady name, but I still like how it sounds :D

Genevieve seems to have more spunk, and younger at the moment! And maybe uncommon... but I still like Evelyn <3

Haha, I just worry that Genevieve might want to called Gen :wub:

Evie's absolutely adorable! I don't see how anyone would want to be called Gen over that! :D

Hahaha! I so would have a daughter that'd call herself Gen instead of Evie, just for the fact I dislike it! :wub:

I mean, it's what I did to my dad... :D
