I like both, but I loooove Kate!

I mean, both are pretty to me. I like Katherine for the nick name Kate, mainly. Cause I adore Kate. But, Kate doesn't seem to have any middle names that flow :)

Could you help come up with middle names that flow with Kate? I've thought of Kate Willow Elisabeth, cause I do like it. Not sure how well it flows.... but, it's not quite perfect :D I like Kate Scarlett, Kate Emmeline. I've also thought of using Emma Kate, then find a nick name... <3

Welllll (heres a life story :)): Ever since I went on holidays to Fiji and I met these girls they were sisters named Emma and Kate... I have loved Kate. I mean before I met them I thought Kate was quite... well boring. It's funny when you meet someone with a certain name you eventually fall in love with their name.. lol.

So I now love Kate <3
Katherine nn Kate, is good because then you will be able to use both names.
Kate Emmeline is gorgeous.

Haha, people certainly do change your opinions on names!!! :)

I like Kate Elisabeth, but I dont love it, I guess. Same with Kate Emmeline. Emma Kate I might love, but I'd still need middle names lol :D

I like all of these from your list, Ash!

-Kate Olivia
-Kate Madeline
-Kate Annabelle
-Kate Amelie
-Kate Noelle
-Kate Eleanor
-Kate Juliet
-Kate Emily

I really like how Kate Eleanor sounds! And Kate Emily :P I think I like Emily more than Emmeline.

More can never hurt! :P

Thanks so much!!!

Thanks so much y'all!!! I like all of these:

Kate Sophie
Kate Willa
Kate Evelyn
Kate Harper
Kate Ivy
Kate Aurelia
Kate Rosalie
Kate Madeleine
Kate Celeste
Kate Arabella
Kate Elise (my dad actually recommended that one to me! Every once and a while we talk names and he'll say random things, like people he thinks of with each name, or whatnot. His middle name for Kate was Elise, and he says it's the only perfect one :))

So far, I still love Kate Eleanor! Kate Arabella, Kate Evelyn and Kate Aurelia are my favs so far! I love them!

Again, thanks a bunch!!!

I like the idea of using the full name, and you can call her the shortform if you prefer. That way as an adult, or even a teen, it gives them more flexibility. Who doesn't know a Michelle who liked Chelle or Sheldon or Shelley better for a period in their life? Or a Jennifer who was Jenn or Jenny.
But it's so nice to have that full name to fall back on in adult life, and that way too she avoids having to correct people for the rest of her life, saying "No, it's not short for Katherine or Kathleen, it's just Kate."
But, I like both names. Jean Little wrote a few books about two best friends and one was named Kate. One book was simply called, KATE. One was "Hey World, Here I am" with poems by Kate.
I forget the other books. Loved the name since I read those books.

I love them both. I voted for Katherine.

I like Katherine better as a middle name with a shorter first name. I love Gracie Katherine!
I like Kate as a middle name with a longer first name: Sara-Kate, Hannah, Cate....

I love Cate as a nn for Caetrin. It's a gaelic form of Katherine but it has the sound Kate in it. It is pronounced like Caitlin but with an r instead of the l

Both are nice, but I think Katherine is better. Kate can always be a nickname.
