My wife and I are pregnant with our third baby girl! I have no idea what to name her. We've scoured the sites but can't find anything that really flows with her older sisters names. Right now we've been calling her Maeby, and would like her middle name to be May to honor that.

Her older sisters are:

Portia Rose

Winona Lynn

To me anyway, their names are so elegant and classic with nice soft sounds. I thought maybe Flora May and actually really liked it, but my wife says its too old timey. Any suggestions at all would be helpful! Maeby will be here in just a few short months!

xoxo

Thanks!

After responding to your post, I re-read it and need to clarify! "Maeby" is just what you have been calling her and not the name you plan to use, right? I first thought your were naming her Maeby May..

How about:

Eleanor May or Ruby May

What pretty names your daughters have! Instead of Flora, how about another flower name?

Daisy May

Calla May

Ivy May

Peony May

Lilly May

Here are some other pretty, flowery-sounding names:

Olivia "Olive" May

Gemma May

Briar May

Neve May (same name as the Irish name "Niamh", just an easier spelling. Can also be spelled Neive or Neeve)

Imogene May

Sonia May

Avery May

We started calling the baby "Maybe baby" before we knew the gender. And when we discovered it would be a girl, it just changed to Maeby because I think the name is cute, but wouldn't use it. Brie doesn't like ANY flower names, she's quite the party pooper. She likes names that end in -a and sound "regal".

Examples of names she likes:

Viviana

Oriana

Ellery

Elana

Adela

For boys we have:

Kennedy Rhys

Jameson Kelly

Cromer Brynn (family name)

We like very feminine for girls, strong for boys. Nothing very common. Nothing seems to fit :/

She shot down every name I read off. I really liked Ruby and Eleanor! I like that style!

She likes Alana, Eliana, Briella and Melody (out of all of that, she's crazy picky :P). I like Eliana and Alana, but I don't know if I'm in LOVE with them :/ Can you guys think of combos for Eliana and Alana with a sweet sounding middle (i.e. like Rose, Lynn)?

I also loveeeee Lydia, but can't think of a middle. Maybe Lydia Rain. Any thoughts?

She also likes Vivian but I don't know if I could name my daughter directly after me! Hah!
