I've never really cared for the name Ramona. It always reminds me of the Beverly Cleary novels. And something about it never struck me as a pretty or interesting name. It was kind of bland. However, after seeing Scoot Pilgrim VS the World (twice), I'm not as standoffish with the name. What do you think?

I actually quite like the name. The first place I heard of it was the child actress Ramona Marquez - Google/Wiki/YouTube her - such a gorgeous little actress - she plays a character called Karen in a program called OutnumberedI've never really cared for the name Ramona. It always reminds me of the Beverly Cleary novels. And something about it never struck me as a pretty or interesting name. It was kind of bland. However, after seeing Scoot Pilgrim VS the World (twice), I'm not as standoffish with the name. What do you think?

Same here!!! I thought it was boring at first, but after seeing Scott Pilgrim twice I was like "Oh, this name is kinda pretty..."
Now, I kinda find it pretty and cool
But my influence is the same as yours, so I'm not sure if my opinions says much lol!
But Ramona Marquez is really cute!

Same here! But I still like the name and I also like the nn Mona. I don't know why but I've liked the name for a while. I don't think I would use it for a first name though.It always reminds me of the Beverly Cleary novels.
