My friends Michael and Arwen are due to have their fourth child. They have Eliana, Rowen, and Titus and the name they have chosen for their new little addition is...

Shimon Ryder

Shimon is a Hebrew name meaning "to hear". I am not 100% sure how to pronounce it, but anyway I say it, I am not that fond. I do like Ryder A LOT, though!

Next, our friends Greg and Jessica have chosen a name for their first child. A little girl named...

Mia Lynn

Mia means "Sea of bitterness and is Scandinavian. I like Mia a lot! Short but sweet. Not too common nor too different.

Not too fond of Shimon---but looking at the other kid's names, I would guess the family is Jewish...so I guess the name and the origin have a special meaning for them....

Mia is very cute!

Oh sorry rose... It's pronounced like Simon, but with the SH sound at the beginning. I guess all I was trying to say was it is a long I! haha sorry for the confusion
