Hi all,

I'm new to this site. My husband and I are starting IVF next month and we're getting an early start on names for the baby (or babies!). While we won't be having octuplets, there's a possiblility that we may have twins, so we want to have four perfect names picked out for our little angels long before they arrive (two boys/two girls, or one of each). We'd love to get some honest input from you all on what we've come up with so far:

Alyssa Skye
Serena Brooke
Samuel Patrick
Benjamin Michael

The middle names for the boys are our dads' first names, which we really want to include in some way.

Thanks for your input!

Hi! I really like your boys' names, but your girls' names are not really my style.

Alyssa Skye- Alyssa's pretty, but Alessia (the Italian form of Alexis) would be much more refreshing. I'd also love to see the Italian Alessandra here. Sky is fine in the middle, but I don't see the point of an extraneous "e."
Serena Brooke- Serena's a very sweet name! I also like Selena. Brooke seems really harsh to me though. Serena Bridget would be adorable, though.
Samuel Patrick- This is perfect. Samson Patrick might add some variety.
Benjamin Michael- As is this. Bennett (the medieval form of Benedict) Michael would be more interesting to me, though.

I would name them Alessia Sky, Serena Bridget, Samson Patrick, and Bennett Michael.

If I had to name two girls/two boys, these would be their names:

Cecily Jane
Josephina Ivy
Rhys Edmund (pronounced like Reece)
Damien Frederick

Good luck!

Alyssa Skye - Not crazy about the flow of it. I love each name though. Alyssa ends with a slight s sound and Skye starts with it so the flow is akward.
Serena Brooke - VERY cute. Brooke is my middle too. I find it very feminine and compliments Serena perfectly!
Samuel Patrick - Love it.
Benjamin Michael - Love it.

Alyssa Skye- I like Alyssa, it is a very pretty name that is not overly popular right now. I'm not a fan of Skye though. (Had you thought about using your mother's names as middle names like your fathers with the boys.)

Serena Brooke- I love Brook but Serena is not my style.

Samuel Patrick- I love this name!

Benjamin Michael- I love this one too.

Another Idea for you if you don't have two boys is Patrick Michael, so you can use both your fathers names.
