I am having the same issue as you with my SO. When it comes to boy names, we are on the same page, but we cannot agree on a single girls name.
Maybe you should look at more traditional names and try to put a playful spin on them. Like Matthias or Matteo instead of Matthew. Topher instead of Christopher. Or just agree to use a more playful nickname, like name her Katherine and call her Kit (I've been trying to get the SO to agree on this one for a while, he loves Katherine but is just so-so on Kit). I also have a friend who named her daughter Kathryn and calls her Ryn which I think is adorable (if only she hadn't thought of it first!)

Oh I love the Ryn idea. I like Kathryn its cute and Ryn is kind of spunky. Great Idea ThanksI am having the same issue as you with my SO. When it comes to boy names, we are on the same page, but we cannot agree on a single girls name.

Having a longer full name which is in his style but then giving them a cute nickname in your style would be a great compromise!
I had so much trouble talking my wife into the name 'Indigo' - in the end I did slightly have to pull the whole "I'm the one who housed her for nine months, I get final say" card, but we ended up hyphenating with a name she liked, so it worked out! If you have another girl, hyphenating could be a good compomise too, if you like that style. Aria-Katherine sounds cute!
