I think I've decided on Mary Angeline Townsend and Roman Alexander Vaughn for my two main characters. The story is to take place in Ireland & England circa ~1820-30s.
For Angeline's parents (deceased) I've already decided Mary for the mother. For her father, Lord Townsend I've yet to decide on a name. I was thinking something very British & common. Maybe Charles, Richard, Walter, George, Arthur, Hugh, Thomas, Roger ... I also need a name for his younger brother, Angeline's uncle, who is the main villian in the story.

I like Walter and Edmund because they are different enough from each other and your other character names.

Hm. I think I was leaning toward either Richard & Edward or Arthur & Edward.
Edward just seems more like a villiany name to me :\
And since they are brothers, I don't mind them having similar sounding names.
IDK.
Do you think any of the options are TOO similar to my other character's names??

Richard and Roger --> Roman
Arthur --> Angeline
Just because of the alliteration.

What about Edward and Arthur, Edmund and Arthur, Edmund and Edward (reminds me of twins)

Now that I think of it, I kinda like Arthur for the dad. Arthur and Angeline sounds like a good father-daughter naming trend, if that's what you're going for. And I like Arthur best with Edward, so you get to use your evil name too. Anyways, what did you decide?

Probably Arthur & Edward
