So I posted a couple months ago trying to figure out if there was a way to combine Floris and Ruth into a usable middle name for a little one we didn't know the gender of. Turns out I am having a girl! I'm so excited. But now comes the hard part finding a name my husband and I agree on. We both do not like super common names. Anything in the top 60 is usually out of the question. It's only been a few days since we found out the gender and I'm finding coming up with girl names a lot harder than boys names. Mostly cause all the "uncommon" names that I love(d) that were around when I was younger have now become the common names of today. I cannot compromise on this. I honestly felt sorry for all the kids that had to be Ashley A. Ashley B. Ashley F.
So we have two boys already names Forrest and Lance. I really don't want to repeat First Letter names as I don't want one child to feel left out that the others "match". I also do not want any A names too many other neices have them or K names.
I like names like Cecily, Cora, Jenna, Rosalind, Rose ("our kid is not a flower" quote from DH), Helen (DH doesn't like), Megan.
Names my husband has suggested are Alice (I don't like it and is A), Daria (my newest neice is Arria) , Ariel (he might have just been being silly) Magdalene (too long and we're not Catholic), and Maxie (I immediatly connected it with Maxim....and if she's blessed like me... too many refrences will happen)
Middle name is to be Floris, Ruth or Lilith haven't decided, need my SO to concur.
Thank you for your help in advance!
