I know Candice Crawford & Tony Romo named their son Hawkins. I also think the name Hawthorne sounds pretty cool, but I definitely feel like both of these names are on the border of unusable/ridiculousness. What are your opinions on the names, ladies?
Hawkins/Hawthorne - ridiculous or usable?

I think Hawkins would be a tad more wearable than Hawthorn. But Hawthorn isn't completely ridiculous to me. Thorn would make a very wearable nickname.

I like both names. Hawkins would be a little more on my tasteful list but both are different, and not used often so therefore makes me equally like them.

Both of them sound more like surnames to me, which is why I think they would seem more wearable in the middle name spot. I really like Addison's suggestion of Ezra Hawthorne as a combo... you still get Hawthorne in the name without worrying about your child enduring any ridicule for an unusual name.
