She's three, and initially, I named her Olivia nn Liv, which I might keep, but as of lately, I've been thinking of a few other names that I would like for her. As I said, she's three. She's bright for her age--definitely a talker. She's a little fiesty and can have a temper that matches her hair color :) As of right now, she's an only child, so Mommy and Daddy spoil her a bit (her parents' names are Gwen and Thomas nn Tom if that has any effect on your choices)

So here are my choices:
Olivia nn Liv
Mia
Audrey
Alana nn Lani (prn. uh-LAWN-uh and LAWN-ee)
Charlotte nn Charlie
Sophie

Which do you think fits her best? And I'm open for more suggestions....

What a cutie!!!!

I love Olivia and the nn Liv...but it just feels so overused right now to me!
Mia is ok
Audrey doesn't seem to fit her
I just have never like the nn Charlie for a girl
Sophie is cute, and really looks like it would fit her...plus, it would be a logical choice because it was so popular around the time she was born
But Alana nn Lani is my absolute favorite! I think she really looks like a Lani, and I love it because that is a unique name!

Hmm, not a huge fan of any of your choices. I agree Olivia nn Liv would fit her, but it is VERY popular. I'm trying to come up with some names that have "spunk" to them. What about....

Carly / Karlie
Kaia
Zoe
Violet
Ainsley
Lilah
Ava
Avery
Keeley
Piper
Scarlett

Thanks Kristi. From you list I like:
Zoe
Ava
Piper

I also like Lilah, but that's already another character's name in my story.

I still think I'm leaning toward Olivia. I just love the nn Liv for her. And the fact that Olivia is so popular might actually be good for my story...I do like to keep things realistic

Thanks so much for your input so far everyone!

I like Charlotte nn Charlie. Is her mom a redhead too? I always though Gwen was very befitting of a redhead.

Nope, her dad's the redhead. Gwen is blonde (:

Alright. I've narrowed it down. Audrey and Alana are out. They just don't fit her. Though I love Mia and Sophie, they just feel too blah and predictable to me. I feel like this little cutie needs something a little more spunky. I know Olivia is really over used, but I just adore the nickname Liv for her. And Charlie's really growing on me--I really like how spunky and fresh it sounds.

So it's down to the final two:
Olivia nn Liv
Charlotte nn Charlie

Let me know which one you like better!

Definitely Olivia, I think Liv is a cute nn and she just doesn't look like a Charlotte to me.

I also like Liv better than Charlie...but she looks just like my youngest sister when she was little..she has the same color red hair, brown eyes and pale skin. So she looks all Maddie/Maddy to me (short for Madeline - LYN not LINE)

Charlotte's a great name, if I do say so myself, but NEVER nickname her Charlie! I for one hate being called Charlie! I go by Charla, Char, or Charley!
