I was watch TV and a little 2 year old girl came on and her name was Shylee. I find it a bit unusual and not my cup of tea, but definitely not the craziest name I've ever heard. What do you ladies think? Cute, weird, horrid, etc?

Also a little boy named Emareon (Ah-mar-ee-on). What do you think?

(Also, side note, I also saw a Miranda, but her name was spelled Merrandah  )

Shylee isn't my style but it's not the worst I've heard I suppose. Better than Merrandah ()and Nevaeh at least.

Emareon sounds like it would match names like Shaneequa, Tenaysha and Treyshawn. Not my style either but not the worst I've heard.

Mmmmkay then...

Shylee - I don't like that it has the word "shy" at the beginning...uh-uh.
Emareon - Sounds like a variation of Omarion/Omari
Merrandah - Horribly murdered.

I have a feeling I may know what you were watching when you heard these names. :P

But yes...Shylee DEFINITELY isn't the worst I've heard...I actually like Shyla, but definitely not Shylee. It seems like it has that "kre8tyv" style that unfortunately may catch on later.

Merrandah is just awful...I don't know where to begin. It looks and sounds almost like one of those cities in the western US with very Native American-sounding names, which wouldn't be so bad...but considering it was the name of a child...I think I'd prefer Shylee.

Emareon isn't the worst...it's very different and a bit trendy though. The spelling is misleading...why not just go with Omarien/Omarion?

Shylee is kinda cute. A bit trendy looking, but cute. I love 'shy' as a nick name (ie Cheyenne // Shyanne, Shiloh). It sounds like a legitimate name, just not my style. I suppose I imagine it cute on someone elses kid... though thats another thing, I don't see it aging well. I suppose maybe it will, but it does have a little girl feel to it.

Emareon.. is it a foreign name? It sounds as if it could possibly be a name, though not one of our culture.. I tried a little bit of google research, but nothing popped up. Oh well. Its not my style, either way.

Merrandah is definitely not my style ;) I'm more of a stickler for proper spellings hehe <3

Shylee makes me think of the word Shyly, like "She shyly said Hello"

Also, new names  Aryiel (Ariel), Commaletha (Comma-lee-tha), Chynah (China), Kadeisha (Ka-dee-sha) & Ianieka (Eh-ny-ehka)

I checked and as far as I know, Commaletha, Kadeisha and Ianieka (Or Emareon) are not foreign and are simply made up Kre8ive names.
Aryiel and Chynah are just misspelled though.

Actually, Kadeisha isn't entirely made up. Well, the spelling is. Kadija is a popular Indian name, name of a princess or something. IDK. But I know a girl with this name is the only reason I know. And Kadeisha and Kadija basically sound the same, I think. So I'm guessing they liked Kadija but wanted their own spelling? Either than or unintentionally copied an already made name with strange spellings. It almost looks like they like Keisha's name but wanted their own as well, lol.

I like Ariel in general.. Aryiel makes me a bit sad lol. I know disney chanel has that Chyna girl, or maybe she does spell it Chynah. IDK. but I saw it there :/ I'm not sure whats up with those other names, but I'm not a fan :(

Ok, thats possible with Kadeisha, I didn't know that. ^_^

I'm not a fan of any of them really. Some more new ones, Kamaury (Ka-Mau-ree), Soo (Sue) & Austenian (Austin-ee-an)
