My friend is having a baby the gender isn't yet known but if the baby is a girl she wants to use Niamh/Neve... She prefers the spelling Niamh and so does her partner however she's just worried that people will mispronounce the name when reading the name or spell it wrong, she's torn between the two... Also she would love middle name suggestions for Niamh/Neve her surname Thomas, I know you guys give amazing help so I trust you all to give beautiful suggestions :)

I'd stick with the Niamh spelling, it's prettier IMO, and I think most people will know how to pronounce it. My second cousin named her daughter Neve, but I do prefer the Irish spelling.

Niamh Sophia
Niamh Chloe
Niamh Arabella
Niamh Georgina
Niamh Georgia
Niamh Diana
Niamh Ella
Niamh Isobel
Niamh Samantha
Niamh Penelope
Niamh Charlotte

I'm in the UK too! I think most people here would be able to pronounce it.

My favourite from hers is Niamh Madelyn, but my favourite from the suggestions is Niamh Rosalie. In my opinion, Niamh Aoife is probably a bit too confusing spelling wise.7

More suggestions:
Niamh Georgiana
Niamh Louisa
Niamh Rowena
Niamh Tatiana
Niamh Lilliana
Niamh Brooklyn
Niamh Jasmine
Niamh Willow
Niamh Willa
Niamh Delilah
Niamh Charlotte

Nat (the name of my friend) is torn between Niamh Madelyn and Niamh Rosalie but she isn't getting much back of her hubby as they don't know the sex, so what do you think?

Niamh Madelyn or Niamh Rosalie

Help her with reasons to give her husband ;) L x

I love Niamh, but also I can see that she might have people mispronouncing and misspelling it. However, if they love the name, they should use it
Niamh Adelaide
Niamh Penelope
Niamh Daroma
Niamh Dakota
Niamh Jessika
Hope this helps!

People keep suggesting Niamh Penelope, it's appeared on here 3 times, was one of the original names me and her spoke about when we found out she was pregnant but her OH wasn't keen... But her mother-in-law recently suggested it also so now she's torn on the original Niamh Penelope or Niamh Rosalie (which her hubby prefers more) also she had her scan today and it turns out she's carrying a girl so Niamh her we come!

Niamh Rosalie Thomas flows a bit better, but Niamh Penelope Thomas seems so much prettier. I'd go with Penelope.
