Dakota Reese Wentworth [16] is ver popular at school partly because her brother is star football player, Parker. She is single and is not interested at boys at the moment. She really likes biology, and is a science nerd but gets along with everyone. She gets good grades and her parents confide in her more. She is cannot wait to get out of the little town and attend a very prestigous university far away from family. She cannot wait to be recognized as someone else beside, "Parker's cute little geek sister".

Rowan Emma Oliver (16) is Dakota's best friend. Rowan is more outgoing and popular. She has sort of a kiddy-crush on Parker because "he's so totally hot" and jokes about it all the time. She and Dakota have known each other for a while, but their personalities are almost polar opposites. Rowan isn't very good at school and enjoys being known as her older sister's little sister. She's a bit boy-crazy and never thinks through her actions, constantly getting Dakota in trouble for stupid things.

Maverick Paul Candler [18] is Rowan's boyfriend. Neither of them are really invested in the relationship all that much. Maverick is older than Rowan, and often pressures her into doing stupid things, which her best friend Dakota often gets caught up in. Maverick plays guitar in a local rock band, but beyond that doesn't really have any long-term plans.

Shaina Lucy Candler (16) is Maverick's little sister. Shaina has a very troubled childhood, in which she often had to watch her mother being beaten. She has found release in modeling. Shaina was discovered on the beach with her best friend. The photographer described her as "emotionally captivating, a defiant, yet calm sort of beauty." She's been modeling for a year and a half now.

Marshall David O'Neal [35] is the photographer who discovered Shaina. He has been a photographer for a long time, and can honestly say that Shaina is one of his favorite models. He feels sorry that she has had such a troubled life so far, and he hopes that her modeling career will open a lot of doors for her.

Vivienne Alicia O'Neal (31) is Marshall's wife. They met when he discovered her. He was just starting out as a photographer and she was 19. Vivienne still models, but not as often since giving birth. She is a big celebrity, but still finds time for family. She is taking up acting, and her new movie premieres soon. Viv is excited to debut and is bringing Marshall with her to the premiere.

Sophie Alexandra O'Neal [2] is Marshall and Viv's daughter. She is a total girly-girl, and loves dressing up in fashionable clothes, just like her mommy. She likes to play with the plastic camera that her parents bought her, and loves seeing the pictures of the "fashion show tea parties" that she has with all of her dolls and stuffed animals.

Sutton Emily O'Neal (4) is Vivienne and Marshall's older daughter and Sophie's sister. She was a little jealous when Sophie was born, but she has handled it well and enjoys playing "fashion-show tea parties" with her. Vivienne recently brought Sutton to work and her director thought she was perfect for the role of her daughter in the movie. So little Sutton is in her first movie! Sutton loves all the attention and is actually quite talented.

Houston Adler O'Neal [1] is the youngest of the O'neal kids, son of Vivienne and Marshall. This bubbly little boy is photogenic like no other. He loves the camera and the camera loves him. He is just like any other boy who plays with toy trains, and is ticklish/. He loves his siblings alot, and his parents.

Francesco Tobin (47) is Vivienne and Sutton's director and the photographer who took pictures of Houston for an advertisement. Francesco has had varying levels of success over the years, and he's hoping that this new drama will keep him in business.

Theo Lucas Collins (16) is a young photographer that Francesco is mentoring, he is also considering auditioning for the new drama. Theo started taking pictures when he was around eight and although they weren't great in the beginning, he quickly got better. Now, according to Francesco, Theo is one of the best photographers he's ever seen. Other than photography, Theo likes to play soccer and loves reading. He has one brother and three sisters who are all younger.

Emmeline Grace Collins [12], Charlotte Amelia Collins [12], and Abigail Hannah Collins [12] are Theo's three younger sisters. Being triplets, the three have always been close, but recently they've been starting to try and develop distinct niches for themselves. Emmeline is the most artistic, and likes taking pictures like her older brother Theo. Theo has been helping her a lot to develop her photography skills recently. Emmeline is not very social, and she hates middle school. She also hates that she's the only one of the triplets that had to get bracelets. Charlotte is the social butterfly of the girls. She's always busy with some club or other. Otherwise she's hanging out with one of her many friends. Abigail is the most athletic. She plays soccer, tennis, and softball. Besides Theo, the girls have a younger brother.

Hadley Jessica Ann Sykora {12} is Charlotte Collins' best friend. Hadley's mom is an interior decorator and her dad is a lawyer. They make good money, but they are down to earth.  She has quite a few sibings, both younger and older. She hopes to have her own big family when she grows up. Hadley loves to draw and help her mom out with design. She also plays a lot of tennis, and often plays with Abigail.

Delaney Vera Castle (12) is friends with all of the Collins girls. She plays soccer with Abigail (whom she calls Abby), hangs out with Charlotte (whom she calls Charlie), and often is the subject of Emmeline's (whom she calls Emmy) photos. Delaney is very bubbly and fun. She's destined to follow in her popular girl older sister's footsteps.

Eliana Beatrice Faye Sykora {17} is an older sister of Hadley Sykora, and she tutors Delaney Castle. She wants to become a lawyer like her dad one day, hopefully going to Vanderbilt. She loves school, and she loves her friends. She has a boyfriend that she has been dating for three months.

Sarah Jennifer Castle (17) is one of Eliana's friends and Delaney's older sister. Sarah practically rules the school-- she's dated the entire football starting line and has her clique wrapped around her finger. She is basically breeding her little sister to be her. Sarah is a little jealous of Eliana because she is dating the only boy that ever dumped her.

Derek Anthony Sykora {42} is the father of Eliana and Hadley Sykora, and he teaches a law class at the high school that Sarah is in. He disapproves of high school drama and is glad that his high-school aged children tend to veer away from it.  "Mr. Sykora" doesn't teach for the money, he teaches to help kids kick-start careers in law instead of not going anywhere in life. The only think Derek loves more than his job is being a husband and father. He loves his kids.

Emily Georgia Jenessy (17) is one of Derek Sykora's students. Emily wasn't part of the high school drama in middle school and early high school. But she recently started dating a very popular boy, not because he's popular, but because she loves him, and vice versa. She's pretty sure it was Sarah who spread nasty rumors about her because of this. Emily loves drawing.

Ross Nicholas Jenessy {7} with Araminta (dog) is the younger brother of Emily. He is a very charming fellow, and he loves people. He doesn't have a lot of friends, but the friends he does have are very close.

Viola Brynn Candler (7) is Ross Jenessy's best friend. They are very close and Viola loves Araminta. Viola and Ross love to play very complex pretend. Viola is the youngest in her family and her parents don't really have time for her. Ross and Viola are practically inseparable. They also draw on the walls in an abandoned shed in Viola's backyard.
