FNs...Whitman, Wiley, James, Christopher(no nn)
MNs...Lyn, Wisdom, Starling, Grey, Reid, Alistair, Bennett, Abram, Levi
I really like names starting with A, E, L, & W for boys.
I do NOT like names with tryndy spellings or made up names (ex. Jaden/Jaydon), though I do like some surnames.

Out of the other names you listed, I only really like Christopher and Alistair. Eller Christopher or Alder Christopher might be nice?

I recently came across the name Eller for a boy. Its german meaning born near an Alder tree. I think it has a really nice sound to it. Got any MN ideas? I've listed some of my other favorite names below so you can get a since of what I like.

I like the poster aboves suggestion to use Alder.
I am having a difficult time pairing Eller using your criteria. I would avoid a mn starting with L.
How about...
Eller Joesph
Eller Ambrose - too much hard r?
Eller Atticus
Eller Avery - too fem?
Eller James
Eller Simon
Eller Jude - I like this one!

I do like the name Avery for a boy but my sister wants to use if for a first name.
I kinda like Eller James but I'd like to use James for a fn, as a middle name it just seems like a filler.
I sort of like Eller Wyatt but my sister likes Wyatt as well...and since she is pregnant and only has three boys names she likes...Avery, Wyatt and Jake...I'll let her have those.

I'm pretty sure she's set on using Whitman as a first name. We've discussed this when I said that I love the name Whitt! LOL. But it actually does sound good.I actually really like Eller Whitman.....
Katie, I agree that Eller Wyatt sounds great. Too bad your sister might use it. Wyatt is actually one of the names that my boyfriend and I have agreed on for a first name. It's a great name, one of my favorites. Do you think Whitt would be able to be a nickname for Wyatt? That just now popped in my head! Hmmmm...... lol

Might be a bit of a streach even though they are similar...Did I tell you the other fn I'd considered for nn Whit....Whitten/Witton <-- Good bit of spelling variations for this (I got it from a book I read, it was one character's surname), Whitley, or Whitney (Whitley and Whitney are a bit too feminine to me though)

Eller Wyatt (can't really use Wyatt though)
Eller James (prefer to use James as fn)
Eller Nathaniel
Eller Benjamin
Eller Isaiah
Eller Matthias
Eller Wayland
Eller Indiana
...WDYT? Any more ideas?

For your names, I like Eller James and Eller Benjamin, and Eller Nathan instead of Nathaniel; the others are quite a mouthful. How about Eller Chase, Eller David, Eller Dominic, Eller Patrick, Eller Scott? Or, I like Eller Bennet from your mn choices.
Good luck!

Okay, hi, I'm not that great with middle names, but I just wanted to pop in and say I really like Eller, though I agree it is close to Ella. Have you thought of Keller or Geller to make it a bit more boyish? You never really said if you liked Alder or not, but I really like Alder, too.
No, I'm not a big fan of Alder or Keller/Geller. I don't think the slight similarity with Ella is a problem, in the south we tend to pronounce our Rs a bit heavy.
Thanks for the suggestions...I was also playing around with the name Eller Chance, its sounds nice but not a big fan of the name.

Eller Nathaniel
Eller Beckett
Eller Blaine
Eller Vincent
Eller Vaughn
Just a few ideas.
And I think Eller Ferris is very nice. I love names that start with F, so maybe that's what it is.
