So the more I think about the name River, the more I like it!

I think it would make a handsome boys name. Of course, I can picture a small boy named River, a teenager, and maybe a young adult. And Grandpa Riv would be pretty cool.

Riv would probably be an occasional nick name. Like, not something I'd call him by a lot and only use River when serious or something. (Almost in the way people know Katherine/Kate's, Kate like becomes their name and Katherine gets forgotten about unless someones angry or something). But, it'd just be a random "Hey Riv, could you please get that real quick?" Or something like that, I'm thinking,

Middle names I have thought about:
River Caden ~ I kinda like how Caden sounds and all. I love Aiden as well, but Aiden doesn't seem to flow as well with River.
River Cayden ~ I honestly like Cayden with a Y better, wdyt? Does the Y make it look "girly"? ;) I don't find Caden in any way girly, but some people do like these sorta names on girls and I wouldn't want it confused.
River Nathan ~ Maybe to honor my big brother?

But, I'd really appreciate some other middle name suggestions! I prefer Nathan as a middle name for Connor, and I try not to have two of the same name like that (I'm trying to make each name have their own indivisual use. Plus I don't really like River Nathan really at all :/). And Caden/Cayden has no other place, but I don't know yet.

Thank y'all so much for any help! :)

What about Ruver Nathaniel? It seems to flow better than River Nathan. I personally prefer River Caden without the y.

River Jacob
River Isaac
River Jackson
River Hayden
River Lewis
River James
River Cameron
River Darren
River Lucas

River Nathaniel would be okay, though Nathan is my brothers name and it'd only be for the sake of honoring him. I do make a lot of suggsestions to people to use different forms of loved ones names when they don't like it and all... but I like Nathan. It sounds really nice, I think :) So yeah, I prefer to stick to Nathan <3

I like River Jackson a lot from your suggestions! ;) Thanks!!

It's soo hard! Cause I love how River James sounds, it's really handsome and all. I kinda love it... BUT, I had this really terrible and scarring incident with a guy named James so horrid things come to mind when I hear the name. But River James sounds super nice!

Thanks so much! ;)

River Andrew
River Dane
River Bentley
River Luke
River Miles (I really like this one)
River Sean

I love the way River Caden sounds (I'm not sure I like it with the Y. What about Caiden?)

River Bentley and River Miles are both so handsome! Thanks!!! :)

I kinda like Caiden with the I. I do like it more than Caden, at least. I'm unsure why, but it feels a bit... uncomplete :/ The I definitely fills it up a bit more, but doesn't make it look trendy or girly. I think it might work much better than Cayden ;)

I like River Landon from your list, Emmagrace. Thank you! ;)

And Alyssa, I like River Jase! But, I think I'd prefer River Jayson... Jase feels incomplete to me :) But I do love the name Jayson so River Jayson is definitely an option! <3

And Kelsie, River Dakota sounds nice! <3 But, it almost feels like a name that a river in Dakota could be named or something... cause that's a worry when paring a middle name with it, I don't want the name to sound like a name of a River. lol if that makes any sense!

Thanks so much all three of you! <3

I get what you mean. I like the sound of it still. :)

Nathan is my favourite of the middle names. Caden is too trendy and there are so many Jaden/Hayden/Brayden/Aidan etc. that it's just not interesting. Spelling it with a Y is no better and makes it looks a bit feminie.

However I don't think River Nathan flows very well. Nathan River is so much nicer. Someones suggestion of River Nathaniel is also a good idea. I think it's just the 2-2 syllable pattern just sounds off.

Other ideas:

River Montgomery
River Isaiah
River Alexander
River Zachary
River Tristan

Well, Nathan River does sound nice. But I would never use my big brothers name as my kiddo's first name :P That would stirr up too much confusoin! I don't mind honoring him with River Nathan, using his name as a middle name. But yeah... I like River as a first name, anyways :D

I do like the combo River Alexander a lot, minus that they both end in R. But I have Alexander reserved for Liam/William :L So I don't want to use it in multiple combo's <3

River Zachary is cute <3

River Gabriel
River Tobias
River Blake
River Elliott
River Elijah
River Elias
River Eli
River Logan
River Malachi

I adore all Eli names, so it's reserved as a first name choice (Eli Christopeher is my name love of the moment <3). But they all are really handsome! River Gabriel and River Tobias feel vey strong, which I like. River Logan and River Malachi are also really handsome <3

I think I really really like River Gabriel and River Logan! Thanks soooooo much!!!
