I am needing some help everyone. I am trying to come up with the perfect baby girls name! I want to name my little girl after my mother and her name is Pamela Jean. To me those are very hard names to carry on. Me and my fiance both love emmy-lou but what can we come up with to go with it so my lil girl will be named after her precious Grammy! Please help! All input etc will be greatly appreciated!

BABY NAMES have ALWAYS been an obsession for me!! :D

Emmy-Lou is GORGEOUS!! I will have a think about Second Name possibilities, but for a subsequent sister Pammy-Jean would be GORGEOUS, as would Ela-Jean if you want a more subtle honouring of Pamela.

Pamela means "All Sweetness" or "Honey" and Jean means "Gift Of God" so any of the following names have one or other of those meanings and would honour your Mother BEAUTIFULLY!!

Melusina
Melissa
Melisande
Honey
Melina

Jeanette
Joanna
Dorothea
Theadora
Giovanna
Ivana
Janetta
Joanie
Johanna
Dorothy
Dottie

There are loads more but I must care for my Baby, sorry! God bless and all the very best! :)

I think Amelia Emmy Lou-Jean is a bit much especially since Amelia and Emmy have similar sounds.

Cora Emmy Lou-Jean sounds nice, but when I hear it I would assume it would be Cora Emmy-Lou Jean. Honestly I find "Lou" is crowding this name up a bit and Lou-Jean almost sounds like Blue Jean. What about Cora Emmy Jean or Emma Jean

I think Emmy-Lou Jean is adorable! Definitely a winner. Emmy-Lou is short in terms of double first names so following it up with Jean doesn't create a huge mouthful. Your last name is also simple, so that helps a great deal.
