It's not really my style of a name but just to warn you, when I saw it I immediately thought of Steve Urkel's Aunt Oona from Altoona.

It's definitely not my style but I much prefer the spelling "Una".

I personally prefer the more common "Anna".

I think it's best paired with a more mainstream name, but that's my opinion.

Here's a few more ideas:

Oona Beatrice

Oona Lorraine

Oona Margaret

Oona Louise

Oona Charlotte

Oona Sophie

i think its possibly one of those marmite names.... 'you either love it or you hate it'. i was thinking Oona Wrae with my partners surname Davey. but we will have to see Oona is staying but im willing to change mn if he finds a better alternative lol. im not thinking mainstream but im not willing to go too far outside the box either. my son Brennan gets a few comments on his name because it isnt very common but i fell in love with that name and didnt sway when family members voiced their opinions lol.

I also prefer the spelling Una - I always liked the character in Anne of Rainbow Valley that was named that. I can't use it though, unless as a nickname... I like Luna far more.

But sound-wise I think it is super cute. It has the short, sweet feel to it without being typical. Its meaning is even cute (lamb), lol.

Oona Wren
Oona Clare
Oona Jean
Oona Ivy
Oona Faith
Oona Catherine
Oona Elisabeth
Oona Winifred
