I posted a topic earlier about if Zoe would be a stretch for a nickname for Sophia. And I had someone say they could see it for Zofia. Honestly, I'm not a fan of the F instead of a PH. Don't ask me why, something seems off about it. But, what about Zophia? Does that seem like trying too hard to trendify the name or is it passable? Should I just stick with Sophia nn Zoe. For some reason or another, I like it!

I personally prefer Sophia, but I don't think there is anything wrong with the name Zophia. It's just nms.

And getting the nn Zoe from Zophia makes much mroe sense than Sophia. And, there is also the possibility of just using the name Zoe on it's own.

Mm. Sophia nn Zoe is too much of a stretch for me.
I would just call her Zoe? Or maybe Zoe Sophia and call her either?

Personally, I feel that Zofia looks less misspelled. Zophia looks like Zipporah spelled wrong to me.. :P
NO idea why!!
But I can make a connection between Zofia nn Zoe.

It's definitely not my style, I personally think it looks like a trendy thing. Same as when I saw Zayden... :P Sorrry!

I like Sophia nick name Zoe better, even if I think its a huge stretch.

But, oh well... <3

I'm not a big fan of Zoe as a given name. However, I can see it as a nickname.

I know Zoe is a stretch for Sophia but it's really grown on me. Especially, Sophia Eden nn Zoe.

Zofia is NMS and I'm not a fan of the F. Zophia is okay and would make more sense but the spelling just gets me.

A good example of a 'stretch' is Rory being a nickname for Lorelai. (Thanks, Megan. :P )

I can personally see Rory for Lorelai.
But I can't wrap my mind around Sophia nn Zoe.

It's just me though :P

LOL. It's alright, Yas! It IS a stretch and kind of random. For some reason, it's so wrong that it's feels right to me.

Zophia seems odd to me... IDK...

I MUCH prefer Sophia.. how about, Sophia Zoe nn 'Zoe' :P
then you can still use 'SoPHia' and it makes more sense to have 'Zoe' as a nn.
