Hi all! 

 

We're currently TTC Baby #2!!! So excited. I had my Mirena removed in April and I'm now on my second cycle and really wanting a March baby so this would be my ideal conception month! 

 

We have short girl name list I need some help with middle names on and your opinions of the names we've chosen. Boy names I love just about every boy there is. We both feel we'll have another girl but my FIL is certain we're going to have a boy (and I had a dream a few nights ago that our second child was a boy named Benjamin but my husband nixed Benjamin when I told him because he doesn't like the way Benjamin Carter sounds for some reason). So I'd love some suggestions on boy names. Last name Carter (obviously lol) 

 

Here's the girl names we love! 

 

Ariana ar-ee-ah-nah (nickname Ari ar-ee) 

Lillian 

Chloe 

 

These are the middle names we've considered, all are family names and we will be choosing two middle names just like with our daughter and my DH 

 

Laura (my DH's recently passed Grandmother's FN) 

Marie (my sister's middle name) 

Mae (my DH's other Grandmother's MN) 

Christine (my Great-Grandmother's name and my name is Christina) 

Lillie (my DH's great-grandmother's name - will consider if we don't use Lillian) 

Irene (my DH's great-grandmother's MN - her first name is Icie (icy) and my MIL wants us to use it but probably won't) 

Odessa/Desi (my great-grandmother's name is Odessa) 

 

We have boy middle names picked out, which are also family names and he would also have 2 middle names like my DH and daughter do. 

 

Blake (will definitely use Blake as one of the names as it's one of my husband's MN's) 

Monroe (my Grandfather & Great-Fathers MN's) 

Jerard (combo of my GF's name - Jerry & my DH's GF's name - Howard) 

Shane (my uncle who passed away at 2 months old) 

Brady (my Mom's name is Brandy) 

Daryl (my MIL's MN is Darlene so we thought this could be a possible male interpretation)

Our daughter's name was originally going to be Cassidy Irene so I really am considering using Irene this go round since we didn't last time. We were for certain never having another child which is one  reason we gave our daughter two middle names (and partly because a majority of our families have 2 middle names so it's tradition) but now it's making it harder to find two middle names that flow nicely. Almost everyone in our families said we should have done our daughters as Maci Ann Michelle Carter but I really liked Maci Michelle Ann Carter better. Although a lot of people still can her Maci Ann anyways.

I like almost every boy name you have listed! You even listed my husband's name, Isaac. I adore his name but he refuses to have a junior but said we could consider using Isaac as a middle name. Gavin is one of my top names right now. Along side Camden but you have definitely added more to the list. I also love the way Holden Blake Monroe Carter sounds. Ahh....So many great names.
