I kinda got my bf into the whole naming thing. So I keep throwing names at him every ones in awhile. He doesn't like most of my names, but that is okay.
The last name I mentioned was Cecilia, since he doesn't like the name Cordelia/ Cordilia -.- and I had it on my list before. And he wasn't reluctant to it, so I took that as a good sign.
But till now I can't come up with a nice short middle name for it. I did suppose Cecilia Pauline in a different topic, but it only sounds good in English, not in German! And our top boy name is Livius Paul right now, so I wouldn't use a feminine version of Paul.
And the thing is that most family names are too long, and the rest doesn't sound good with it -.-
The middle name: the ones in (brackets) are not that important
~ should be really short, since Cecilia is pretty long and both of our last names have 2 syllables.
~ shouldn't end with an "A" or "E".
(~ shouldn't start with a vowel,)
(~ shouldn't sound too English, since my bf isn't really fond of English names. I would say he likes more Spanish sounding names.)
(~ and please consider that names are mostly pronounce different in English than in German, e.g. Rose is pronounced ROW-suh with a short 'a'-sound at the end.)
Do you have any ideas?
I know, very difficult and confusing.

I'm not sure how these names sound in German, but here are a few...
Cecilia Bette
Cecilia Diann
Cecilia Fay
Cecilia Flor(ence)
Cecilia Gail/Gale/Gayle
Cecilia Hope
Cecilia Janet
Cecilia Lark
Cecilia Maris
Cecilia Margret
Cecilia Marisol
Cecilia Nieve
Cecilia Pilar
Cecilia Roslyn
It is a bit difficult coming up with hispanic girls names that don't end in -a.
I know you said no vowels but what about Cecilia Esme?

I don't really mind English names. It was just a thought of using a Spanish name, but I wouldn't mind not using it. So other middle names are appreciated.
But still, the only name combination I like is Cecilia Esmé But I am afraid that it doesn't fit to our last names, both ending with -e
I would also go with Cecilia Rosalie, instead of Roslyn. But it is pretty long, don't you think?
And what do you say to Cecilia Susann or Cecilia Marie? Both names are honoring my hostmom Susan Marie! But besides that fact, what do you think of these?
