I recently met a little girl with a very unique name. Tania Raige (ta-nay-uh rage) ... I asked her mother if it was a typo and if she meant to write Paige on the paper & she was extremely offended. what is your opinion on the name and the mother's reaction? I was just making sure there were no corrections she needed to make. These are very important documents she was filling out for her child.

Hmm, I can't say I'm a fan of the name at all. What is wrong with Paige?

That is very true. I just couldn't picture that sweet innocent little girl with a middle name like Raige.. I know it's her child but it just seemed odd to me how offended she was.

I really like it! Sounds perfect as a name for a character in a dystopian young adult novel!
As for the mother's reaction if I were you I would have probably asked in a different way. I would have spelled the first and last name out or asked her to look over it one more time to make sure it was accurate.
