Hey! I'm writing a new HP fanfic called "Once Upon a December" about a girl who discovers that Snape, her father, is alive. I need names, though!

Snape
Husband: Severus Snape
Wife: Claudia Snape
Daughter: ????
Son: Sivious Snape

Malfoy
Husband: Lucius Malfoy
Wife: Narcissa Malfoy
Son: Draco Malfoy
Daughter: ???? (Not sure about her)

Lestrange
Husband: Rodulphus
Wife: Bellatrix
Daughter: ????

RED = SUBJECT TO CHANGE IF YOU HAVE SUGGESTIONS

Draco is a constellation name (and in the epilogue of HP it says that he named his son Scorpio, another constellation name). Here are some that you could possibly use for his sister:
Hydra - female water snake
Lacerta (la-SER-ta) - lizard
Lyra - lyre
Sagitta - arrow
Vela (VEE-la) - sails
Vulpecula - fox

My pick would be Lacerta...it sounds like an HP name to me (weird, but still on the edge), and the meaning is great if you intend to make her a villain. Lacerta Malfoy. Draco & Lacerta. wdyt? Vela would probably work too. It has a good Malfoy sound to it.

Hmm...Claudia sounds good for Snape's wife. It actually means "disabled." I don't know what kind of character you want to make her, but Claudia could really go both ways (good character or bad).

I'll have to get back to you on the other ones...

Okay, so JK Rowling used a lot of old Catholic saint names for her characters. Severus is one of them...here are a couple that I dug up from this website that could work for his son's name (Sivious sounds pretty contrived, and VERY close to Severus)

Sadoc
Saturnin
Scarthin
Servilian
Sevarian
Sosius
Soteris

Soren is an Italian name that means "stern" or "severe" (which is the meaning of Severus). Anything you see that could work?

For the Lestrange daughter...here are some ideas:

Adrastea- one who does not flee (Greek mythological name, and one of Jupiter's moons)
Calliope- beautiful voice (Kali is also a mythological goddess of darkness and destruction)
Callista - most beautiful (most of these have good meanings, but perhaps they could indicate a stuck-up character?)
Castora - couldn't find a meaning for this one
Cressida- golden (one of Uranus's satellites, in keeping with the star/space type theme that JK Rowling seems to like)
Endellion- fire soul (this is another saint name)
Tarsilla- another old saint name
Triphina- and another

Wow...most of these are C names. I guess C is a good hard letter than can be sort of stuck-up sometimes (which is how I would imagine Bellatrix's daughter).

Anyway, I hope these help. =)

Snape
Husband: Severus Snape
Wife: Claudia Snape
Daughter: Clarisse Snape or maybe Serpentiana Snape (Sir-pen-tee-ah-nuh)
Son: Sivious Snape

Malfoy

Son: Draco Malfoy
Daughter: Salah Malfoy (after Salazar Slytherin) (Not sure about her)

Lestrange
