Help me out name nerds! Is the 'a' sound in both Asher and Jack too close to be fn, mn?
Also, which is better: Asher Jack or Asher Jackson?

I don't like the sound of Asher Jack, but if you really wanted to, it could work. My vote's for Asher Jackson, though

Asher Jackson reminds me of Andrew Jackson. While I must confess I have a major crush on our 7th president(his looks, that is), I don't think you should do it. Decidedly paltry historical reference aside, I'm not found of the sound of Asher Jack or Asher Jackson. I'm sorry, but Jackson is going through a phase and will be out of style soon. Other J names: James, John, Jacob, Jason, Josiah, Jude, Jebediah, Jonas, Jeremy

Thanks for the input ladies! That's what I came here for! I agree with the fact that Asher Jack don't sound great together.
Jackson is my maiden name (when I get married) and is a way to honor my dad so I don't really care that it's going through a phase, though I do agree it is. Haha.
The only other way I could honor him is through Darrin. But I can't decide if I care for sound of Asher Darrin...

Asher Jackson is muuuuch better than Asher Darrin in my opinion...
And just to add, I think Jackson will go down in popularity soon, but I don't think it will be "uncool" for a very, very long time.

I think Asher Jackson is cute! It sounds much better than Asher Jack or Asher Darrin imo.
