I can understand what you mean---Zayda does have a "spicy" feel (:

And the inevitable Yazzie Sentence "Glad to be of service ma'am!" ;]

hehe. It was the only word i could think of to describe it! I wanted to say quirky.. but it didn't fit! :blink:

All names have a certain feel about them. For example, your name, yasmine, sounds exotic. And my name sounds blah (:

To me, Roseann sounds feminine and girly, with a southern feel to it. :] Don't put yourself down! Yasmine to me, doesn't seem exotic. But i don't know how else to describe it! Hmm. Cute maybe? :blink:

I mean, i'm not exotic AT ALL! :) Maybe my eyes.. slightly.

Its funny how names sound different for everyone. My name does sound a bit southern now that you mention it---and I'm not even from the south. I live in Pennsylvannia!

Spicy? Really? I always thought it was... not quirky, or anything. It's not even Spanish! =/

LOL!! Zayda! It sounds spanish! ;] It's beautiful, in a sort of 'hot' spicy way. Sorry, i just really can't find any other way to describe it! And HELL yeah, i'd name my kid that. ;] :blink:

Yasmine is quite odd anyway, so no one would think anything of it! :)

Really? You think it sounds Spanish? :blink: Yay!
See, but Zayda would mix with your other children's names!
I tried to get my younger sister to name her first child after me (because I don't have the guts to 'recycle' my name) and she said it sounded weird, so no.

I love Yasmine. I used to love the spelling Jasmine, but I like how yours is spelt better.

[;

But i don't think i could ever 'steal' Zayda's name.. :[ It's ZAYDA!!!

I love both spellings! Though here, Ashlie is a lot less common! Everyone is either Ashley or Ashleigh. :]

I still think it's a gorgeus name! :blink:
