You may know, but Lark is a family name (my grandpa is named Lark Alfred). I like the idea of using his full name as a middle for a future son. But I also like the idea of honoring both of my grandparents with the middle name Marylark / Mary Lark for a girl. Which do you prefer?
I also love the middle name Laurence for both a boy or a girl. It has some family significance. My aunt's name is Laurie and my current boyfriend's dad is named Larry (although I think it is just Larry and not short for Lawrence/Laurence). Also my mom's favorite book/movie is Little Women and I know she loves the idea of Laurence nn Laurie for a boy. So I really can't decide. Which do you prefer?
Thanks!
Middle names.

Haha, I have to agree with Remy! I voted Lark Alfred, but Marylark is just as lovely.
I prefer Lawrence (with this spelling) on a boy. I really like the nickname Laurie for a girl, though! Maybe you could find another name (e.g. Laura, Lauren, Lorelei, etc.) that could use the nickname Laurie / Lori?
