Hello wonderful people!

My fiancée and I will soon be trying to conceive and we just started a conversation about future baby names. It turns out that we agree the names should be meaningful. We don't have much of a list so far, but here's what we like:

BOYS

Ellington (I LOVE this name, but it is the name of a son of my fiancée's friend so.....any other names besides Wellington that I might love just as much?)

Logan (fiancée's fave, not so sure I love it, but I don't hate it)

Lemuel

Steveland (fiancée likes it after Stevie Wonder....what do you all think?)

BOY MIDDLE NAME IDEAS:

Vaughn

James

Jameson

Key

Afton

GIRLS

Mabie (After our grandmothers, Mae and Bea....but I don't want it to sound too Arrested Development)

Melody

Satchel

Thora

Othella

Zora

Lyric

Coralina

If you could give your opinion on any or all of the names, I'd be grateful. However, I'm really looking to add to our list of options so far. So, please feel free to make as many suggestions as you like. We are partial to uncommon but not too crazy names. Family names that could be honored in first or middle names: Hazel, Beverly, Mae, Bea, Orpah, James, Melvin, Lori, Jack, Timothy, Edward, Arletha. We also love musical names in case you couldn't tell. Either way, we'd love names that have wonderful meanings behind them. Baby's last name will be three syllables and will start with a J.

Thank you so much in advance, I really appreciate any feedback you'd like to give!

Trina

Thank you for the feedback and suggestions!

I do like Bennett, but it doesn't flow well with the last name. Same with Ember (love it, but has very similar sounds). Blair is pretty; possibly as a middle name.

I would like to avoid names that sound too trendy or are spelled weird just to be unique...that's just a preference. I am not averse to names from a variety of cultures, though. I especially love a lot of Greek and Spanish names, but I just haven't found any that my fiancée adores as well....

Any more suggestions?
