So! Me and Mikey were talking names.. and he listed the names he really likes! :)

Mostly, he listed names we already established liking. But there are some brand new additions to Our List!

For boys, we're adding...

Drake
Chris / Christopher
Mike
[we're thinking about maybe a Michael Junior? MJ? I can just imagine calling him Little Mike! haha! It'd carry tradition down, as his grandfathers name is Mike and all. But I'm also thinking it might be easier as a middle name :) ]

For girls, we're adding...

Gwendolyn
Willow
Ivy
Alexandria
Nicole
Trisha
Veronica / Victoria
Marissa
Laura / Lauren

I'm thrilled!! I'm not quite sure about all of them though. He listed a few more, but as I said, they're already on. And he listed my name, which I'm eh about. I guess I could tolerate using my name as a middle name or something.. but idk. But he said he really likes it, so its in consideration! I love the idea of using Michael after him though!! So handsome! Plus I've always adored the name Michael <3 I've never had Drake on my list, but the more I think of it the more I do like it! Not a list topper, but still nice! And as for Christopher, I have plenty of family I could honor using this name, which I love! So I'm definitely thinking of it as a middle name, but even though its popular and used, its still handsome to me <3

I'm even more thrilled on the girls names!! He loves some absolutely gorgeous names! ;) Gwendolyn is so elegant and beautiful! Even though it has a D in it, which I'm trying to avoid as Mikes last name has a D in the second syllable. But I honestly don't think it clashes too badly here! Its 566 on the SSA charts, so its not real popular at all! Love love love! <3 And I can call her Gwen <3 <3 Willow is beautiful, frilly, love! Probably moreso as a middle name, but still! Ivy is gorgeous. Alexandria is long and elegant- ahhh so cute! Nicole is a bit dated, I'd probably opt for Nicola. And probably as a middle name. But even as a first name it'd be lovely <3 Plus I feel like Nicole would honor his brother Nicholas/Nick very well :( Trisha I'm not a fan of, but I'm definitely fine with it being a middle name! Veronica and Victoria are both so gorgeous! Marissa, eh. Frilly, good middle name. And I've been liking Laura / Lauren! <3 Maybe I should suggest Laurel to him.. but Laura is quite pretty! I'm a fan! <3

Yay I'm so happy with the new additions!!! <3 What do you ladies think? I think these names top a lot of the ones we had previously, honestly! Of course I'm still a huge fan of Eloise Jade, Piper Zoey, Chase Ryan Michael / Chase Anthony, Liam Alexander, etc etc! <3 But these are all so handsome! So very happy :)

Lucky. Martin's picky about when he'll talk about names. To have a decent convo on them he has to start it.

What about Michael Drake and calling him Drake?
Christopher is nice but it's ruined for me because of personal connections.
For girls:
Willow Nicole-although it has the o sound in the second syllable in each name.
Alexandria Lauren
Gwendolyn Nicole-but then you have back to back n's.

Yay for new names! :)

Drake isn't my style, but it's still a nice solid boy name. I love Christopher! And Mike is really adorable.

As for the girls, I love Ivy, Alexandria, Nicole, Veronica, Marissa, and Laura / Lauren.

Congrats on these new additions... and good luck! :(

Haha, yeah Mike wont always talk names <3 but occasionally he's open to it, and a couple times he initiates the topic! He is very interested in names, but I think he doesnt want too serious a talk about it until we're actually expecting lol. But he has told me we will be talking A LOT about names when we are, cause of how important a name is to a person and the child will have to live the rest of their lives with it.

Michael Drake is handsome!! If we had a Junior we'd definitely have to call him by a different name, like the middle name. I already know I plan on calling my future son Little Foot though, because Mike has huge feet and the kiddo will have tiny ones lol!

I do know some Christophers that are eh. But I also have family, so <3

I like all the girls as well! Even if there is a tad of a conflict in each <3 thanks Erin!!!!

And thanks Meghan!! I am quite happy with them! :( Im so glad Mike has good taste in names!!! <3
