Why?
G: because my friend named her daughter that. B: because my last name ends in "son" as well...so it sounds bad:(

Why? I love Luke and Leia as a sib-set, but I don't want to get any Star Wars jokes, because it's definitely not why I like the names.

I go off of them too quickly. But there have been a few.

Danielle [My twin sister's name. Could, however, use it as a middle]
Evangeline [Wouldn't be brave enough!]

Benjamin [Brother's name, so middle again]
Simon [Have an uncle Simon, one of my mother's middle names is Simone. So I could use it as a middle to honour]

Why? As much as I love them, I just can't see myself using them.

Well, clearly Audrey and Henry haven't passed yet. So I suppose I'll go with these...

Were you ever obsessed with a name that you know you couldn't use now? Why?
Suppose I've already answered this one! But I'll add a few to the list.
#1 Nora [I would love to name first son Noah. So even though I love this name, I just can't find another boy's name I would want to use more!]
#2 Saoirse [Love how it looks, but it sounds off when I try to pronounce it]
#3 Zoe [I really like this name, but I just can't get over the idea that it won't age well...]

#1 Perry [Adore this one, but not sure if I'm brave enough to use it... even in the middle spot!]
#2 Beau [Again, love it! But because I'm French and I speak it fluently, I tend to shy away from "noun names" if you will..]

Why? There have been several Charles' in my life who I would never deam to name a child after, I still like if for a middle name but I doubt I'll ever use it. Elias is too similar to Eloise, Eliza & Elie which I like just a bit more than Elias.

Were you ever obsessed with a name that you know you couldn't use now? Why? Other than Charlotte (see above), I can't really use Anna now because my two of my cousins have used variants of the name: Annabelle Lynn & Clara Ann (we have the same grandmother Ann which is also where I get my middle name from). Its just too many Ann's in the family.
