So we met this family last year while they were vacationing in our home town and they have eleven boys. They are the reason I like a lot of these names and am considering a few for our new addition.

16 - Carleton / Emmerich << Considering Carleton Lyle nn Carlyle and Emmerich Jude nn EJ
14 - Elliot *Leo*
13 - Everett *Rhett*
11 - Simon / Oliver *Ollie*
10 - Noah / Lucas *Luke* / Jesse
9 - Christian
6 - Jamison

It's a lot of boys but I was wondering two things... first do you think the sibset flows... second what girl names do you think go well with these boy names

I really like this sibset. I think everything except Emmerich fits. I don't know why, but it doesn't seem to go with the others. I actually have Elliot, Noah, Lucas and Christian on my list, and Simon is on my "almost" list, lol. I think the nickname Leo for Elliot is clever. I never thought about that. I've always loved the name Leo, but I thought it might be too short of a name, and I don't like Leonard, Leonardo or Leopold.

As for your names, I think Carleton Lyle is a cute way to get the nickname Carlyle. Both names are uncommon, but nice. I also like Emmerich Jude with the nickname EJ. It's very handsome.
