Ryan Patrick Grey is 22 years old and just finishing up his degree when he finds out his girlfriend, Rose Marie Porter, is pregnant! They move in together in the spring and prepare to welcome their child. Rosie's parents pressure them to get married, but they feel that it isn't necessary. In mid-July, they welcome a daughter and name her Ada Miriam.

 

Two years pass; Ryan has a steady, well-paying job, and Rosie is enjoying staying home with her precious toddler. One night, she starts feeling nauseous. After a few days, she is still not feeling better, so she decides to take a pregnancy test. It is positive! She tells Ryan, and they are both very excited. In April, they welcome their second child, a son named Oscar Leopold.

 

When Oscar is 3, Ryan and Rosie find out that they are expecting once again. At her second ultrasound, they find out they are expecting triplets! They decide to move out of their apartment and into a house in the country. Rosie is sad to leave their first home together, but determined to make their new house a home their kids can love. They buy and move into a two-story farmhouse, and 2 weeks prior, Rosie gives birth to two girls and one boy: Luna Beatrice, Priscilla Alice, and Javan Maximus.

 

Four years later, the triplets are in preschool and the house seems empty in the mornings. Ryan and Rosie discuss it at length, and ultimately decide to try for one more child. After 5 months, they find out that they are pregnant with twins! That winter, they welcome two girls, Zelda Josephine and Arwen Matilda.

 

A year later, they buy two cocker spaniels, named Kit and Celia.
