Samantha Arielle Scott (17) is Jordan's twin sister. She is a total queen bee. Samantha is the head cheerleader and has dated every starter boy on the football and basketball teams (save for Jordan of course). Samantha loves attention and loves being bad, breaking the rules, playing dirty. Jordan is a bit more ethical than she is, and while they are both attractive, she uses her good looks more for taking advantage of people. She is really just looking for acceptance as her parents divorced (nasty) two years ago and she, Jordan, and their little brother were just left alone. "Samantha Scott" is the name everyone whispers, the girl guys like and girls are afraid of. She has a quite stereotypical posse and together they rule the school.

Penelope Charlotte Bradbury [17] is the second-in-command of Samantha Scott, though she's a little less heinous then Samantha happens to be. Penelope is also on the cheerleading team and in addition plays tennis.  The pair have been best friends since they were six years of age, though for the past three years they've been more than that, in fact they're girlfriends. Though, no one else knows that they are as they've been dating in secret because they don't trust the people they know, both families and friends, not to turn on them. The pair cannot wait to go to college so they can be out in open. Penelope has been babysitting and working at a clothing store all through high school and middle school so she's saved up a lot of money, as has Samantha, in case they need to support themselves. Penelope has been "dating" a football player for the past year, though he knows she's a lesbian and he's fine with it as he himself is gay and they act a each other's beards.

Emily Georgia Rosen (17) is the third girl in Samantha Scott's posse. She loves surfing. Emmy's not the brightest, but when she's on the water, she's as scholarly as anyone. Emily is oblivious to the relationship between Samantha and Penelope and is very straight, coming from a traditional Catholic family. Her brother, though, is gay and acts as Penelope's "boyfriend." Emily has won many surfing competitions and teaches local girls to surf as well as her little sister.

Gabriella Flora Rosen {7} is the little sister of Emily who is learning to surf. She has loved the ocean and swimming since she was tiny, so she was delighted when Emily offered to teach her how to surf. Gabriella is very adventurous, she's willing to try anything once. Some of her favorite things to do is go on hikes with her dad, go snorkeling with her mom, and riding bikes on the beach with her brother and sister. Gabriella wishes that she had more than two siblings, one closer in age to her, but she loves the ones she has.

Elijah George Rosen [17] is the twin brother of Emily Rosen and the older brother of Gabriella Rosen. He's also the fake boyfriend of Penelope Bradbury as he's gay, but in the closet due to how conservative his family happens to be as Catholics. A lot of it makes life hard on Elijah, but he plans to sort of runaway with Penelope and Samantha Scott when they all graduate. Scott's on the football team as quarterback and he bets illegally on his games to make extra money in addition to tutoring a lot of other guys on the team and being a dishwasher at a local restaurant, like Penelope he's trying to save as much money in case with their group coming out he ends up being rejected from his family, which Elijah expects due to their conservative lifestyle. Elijah has an older boyfriend who is in college who he loves very much.

Simon Lucas Carter Aspen {17} is Elijah Rosen's best friend. He is straight and is happily dating. He's also the captain of the basketball team at the school where Samantha, Jordan, Penelope, Emily, and Elijah go. Simon's dad is the state's governor, and his mom helps his dad out with different things. Simon is the youngest child in his family, but has several older siblings and several nieces and nephews.

Brandon Lorenzo Pozzo (20) is Elijah's boyfriend. He is very open about his sexuality and hopes Elijah will be too when he gets away from his family. Brandon comes from a traditional Italian family and all but his father have accepted his "lifestyle." Brandon loves dogs, cats, and writing. He is an English Literature major at Penn State. Brandon loves swimming and swam competitively all his life. He has a shot at the team for the 2016 Rio Olympics and is very excited. He has four sisters and was always pressured by his family because he is the only boy. His sister is dating Simon Aspen.

Christina  Esperanza Pozzo [16] is dating Simon Aspen, whom is the best friend of her older bothers boyfriend, Elijah. She is very close to her older brother because he is the closest sibling to her. She has three older sisters, but her and Brandon are the youngest of the family. christina loves scrapbooking and is currently working on a scrapbook of the first year anniversary of her first year with Simon. she is very excited.

Katherine "Katie" Alessia Pozzo (23) is the older sister of Brandon and Christina. Katie is fresh out of college and wants to be an architect. She is very gifted and already has complex plans for her city. Katie just broke up with her high school sweetheart over a cheating scandal and, though she doesn't show it, she's heartbroken. Brandon is very close to Katie and offered to "beat him within an inch of his sorry life," but Katie is very supportive of her religion's nonviolent teachings. Despite her blue eyes, she acts the most Italian-Catholic out of the kids in her family.

 Jacob Fitzroy Whistler {35} was one of Katie Pozzo's professors through her college years. Katie's Junior year was his second year teaching, before that he was working at an architectural firm. He had Katie for both her junior and senior year of college, and she was one of his favorite students. Jacob his happily married and has three kids of his own, ages 7-2, and his wife is pregnant with number four. Jacob never misses a game that his kids are playing in or a play that they sing in, he's a very involved and supportive dad. He spends as much time with his family as he can.

Royce Frederick Whistler [7], Damon Jacob Whistler [4] and Frannie Katherine Whistler [2] are the current three children of Jacob Whistler and his wife. They're expecting another little sibling in three months time. While their mother knows the baby's gender, the three of them are waiting to find about if they'll be getting another brother or sister. The children were all named after their same-gender parents, though Frannie is also given her middle name after her father's favorite student. Royce is a quiet and shy boy, he doesn't talk much, but the little lad enjoys trying to draw pretty houses like his dad does. On the other hand, Damon is a fire cracker, the little boy is always running, yelling and making chaos. Damon is constantly injuring himself though in his quest for more adventure and fun. If his mother doesn't have to call him thrice for anything then she has not called him once. Frannie is a mix of the two, excitable and rambunctious, but she does enjoy some quiet cuddle time with her mama and papa. All the kids have a pet rabbit, Royce's is named Bilbo, Damon's is named Flash and Frannie's is named Patches.

Francesca Sarai Whistler {35} is happily married to Jacob Whistler, and she's a loving and patient mom to Royce, Damon, and Frannie. She is pregnant with their fourth child, another boy, but isn't revealing the gender to her kids because she wants them to be surprised. Francesca has a home-based monogramming business for etsy.com. She likes the extra income, and doing it helps her relax.

Leonardo Abram Cornwell [32] is Francesca Whistler's younger brother and the uncle of Royce, Damon, and Frannie. His father is American, and his mother is Italian, which is why he and his sister have Italian first names. He has taken over the architectural firm that his brother-in-law Jacob was the head of before he started teaching at the university. Leonardo is a very gifted architect with a special propensity for designing elaborate, Renaissance-style facades for all of the buildings he works on. Three years ago, he went to Italy to study the architecture of some  of the old cities. While there, he met a young Italian woman and fell in love with her. Because of their jobs, neither could move to the other's country to be closer to one another, but they kept up a long-distance relationship for more than two years. Leonardo's girlfriend recently got an opportunity to move to the United States to be closer to him, and he plans on proposing to her soon.

Lark Paolina Di Marcantonio {3} is the daughter of Leonardo and his girlfriend, unbeknownst to him. When he was in Italy and met his girlfriend, little Lark was concieved. Her mother, not ready to be a parent nor wanting to bring a child into her new relationship with Leonardo, decided that she would use the distance to her advantage and not tell Leonardo about the baby, and when the child was born she would give her up for adoption. When she was born, a very rich and rather famous Italian family living in Verona, the Di Marcantonio's, adopted her as they could not have children of their own, and they gave her her name.

Alessandra Elda Di Marcantonio (33) is the adopted mother of Lark, who she and her husband adopted because they couldn't have children of their own. She and her husband are both stage actors, and had met while starring in a play. She adores her daughter, and is hoping she could become an actor as well.

David Lorenzo Di Marcantonio {37} is the husband of Alessandra, adoptive father of Lark and one other child. He comes from a very long line of rich people, all famous around Italy for no particular reason, and are looked at like royals though they are not actually royal. David picked up stage acting and he enjoys it thoroughly.  David has quite the fleet of cars, Lamorghini's, Bugatti's, Zenvo's, you name it, and aside from his family, they are his pride.

Matteo Giovanni Di Marcantonio {7} is the adopted son of David and Alessandra and the adopted brother of Lark. Matteo is very close to his adopted father, and loves to cruise around with him in his fancy sports cars. Matteo recently starred in a play with David, and received rave reviews on his performance. Matteo thinks that acting is fun, but he doesn't know if he wants to do it all the time like his parents. He loves being outside, and thinks he may want to be some kind of biologist when he grows up. Either that, or a ninja.

Valentina Mariela Vincenzo (9) is Matteo's best friend, despite the age and gender difference. Valentina acts a lot. She was pretty much conceived into the career, as her parents are famous movie and stage actors and were actually in the play during which David and Alessandra met. Valentina loves acting and is the major child starlet of her country, even being in a few American-produced box-office hits. Valentina also loves science and she and Matteo have "science-offs" to see who can name more scientific facts about a particular thing. Valentina sometimes wonders what it's like not being an actress, but for now, she's comfortable where she is. She has six much older sisters and a much older brother.

Rosetta Giovanna Alderisio {7} is another child actress, alongside Matteo and Valentina. She, like Valentina, was born into the spotlight, but she has let it go to her head. She isn't friendly, and she's very self centered. She has friends, but she is sure to only choose people who will make her look good as her friends, and she calls Matteo an amateur, and often tells Valentina to "get [her] head and heart into it" and to "stop wasting [her] time on science!" Rosetta works so hard to make her parents and older siblings proud, and she has one many awards in the process. She has learned to carry on conversations with adults, and she is rarely around other children.

Ginevra Noemi Alderisio (14) is one of Rosetta's older siblings. Their whole family is full of actors, and she's starred in plenty of teenage-aimed plays/movies and dramas. She sometimes wishes she were born into a normal family, one that isn't associated with acting, but she enjoys acting nonetheless. Directors feel she has a lot of potential. She's the second oldest.
