Valentina would be better in my opinion.
Not a fan of Dragon on a girl at all. It'd be okay on a boy, though.

Valentine is okay, I sort of associate it with a boy though, and Dragon would be kind of cool on a boy (Makes me think of Dragon Lankford from HON)

Valentine is ok. It would have been worse if Dragon was her first name. It's an odd choice but at least it's just the middle.

I agree that both Valentine and Dragon feel masculine. Valentina would have felt more girly. Also, if you love MLP so much, they have other names that would be more "normal" and still obviously honoring!
Celestia (Princess Celestia)
Jack/Jackie (Applejack)
Belle (Sweetie Belle)
Brae / Braelie / etc (Braeburn)
Coco (Cocopommel, not my fave but still more legit)
Marilyn (Mayor Mare)
Sapphire (Sapphire Shores)
Soren (Soarin)
Cadance (Princess Cadance)
Luna (Princess Luna)
Joe (his names just Joe lol)
Trixie (The Great and Powerful Trixie)
Maud (Maud Pie, Pinky Pies sister! )
Betty (Apple Brown Betty)
Florina (Florina)
Magdalena (Magdalena)
Wensley (Wensley)
Flora (Apple Flora)
June (Red June)
Liberty / Belle (Liberty Belle)
Ace (Ace)
Ambrosia (Ambrosia)
Amira (Amira)
Bonnie (Bonnie)
Giselle (Giselle)
Millie (Millie)
Yeah. Theres more. I only knew half those off the top of my head.. but yeah. Okay, okay yeah... my friends are MLP fans But they have plenty of better options then THAT.
