Hello! I have been thinking and if I ever am blessed with a little girl, I adore the name Anneliese. My mother, who passed when I was 2, had the middle name "Anne". My middle name is "Alyse" (pn Elise). I wanted to combine the two without a name looking too creative... Any suggestions? So far I have thought of Annealyse, AnneAlyse, Anne-alyse and Annalyse. What do you think? Thanks!

I vote sticking with the Anneliese spelling, I totally think it works for honoring both you and your mother. :)

Anneliese is beautiful. I would stick with that. Annelise and Annelies are also legitimate spellings (Danish and Dutch, respectively), but anything beyond that strikes me as tacky.

Middle name ideas would be great!:) My stepmom thought the original spelling looks weird and that a more unique one would be better. I personally like Anneliese best.

I agree, stick with Anneliese. I think the honoring would still be obvious without changing the spelling.

Annalyse is my favorite! If you're looking for middle names, try:
Annalyse Mae
Annalyse Claire
Annalyse Katherine
Annalyse Lynn
