Looking for a girls name to go with our son's name. DH and I really like Tabitha, however I feel that Tabitha is too close to Tobias.

I don't want to create a theme when we plan on having more children. If the first 2 are very similar I feel like I would be compelled to continue using 3 syllables "T" names. Am I the only one that thinks this way? Are the names too close or do they go well together without being too match-y? Any thoughts and ideas are greatly appreciated! :)

I am on the same boat with the theme ordeal. I always felt obligated to give my kids the same initial or theme, per say.

I believe giving them the same vibe in names but totally different [starting with a different letter, etc.] is the way to go!

Addison's suggestion of Matilda is precious!

A vintage gem would be phenomenal with Tobias.

Here are a few:

Florence

Lydia

Nella

Phoebe [This sib-set would be out of this world adorable!]

Hazel

Winnie [Can expand into Wilhelmina or Winifred if desired! :) ]

I adore Mabel and Wilhelmina, however DH vetoed them both. Matilda and Phoebe are growing on me, but I don't love them just yet. I don't like Nella, but I do love Nellie. Maybe as a double first name...something like Nellie Jean?
